The location of the hotel was excellent with a 2 minute walk into the main square of Graz. The hotel was immaculate in terms of decor and spotlessly clean. The room was very large, good amount of hanging space and and a safe. The bed was very comfortable. Coffee machine & pods included. The bathroom was spacious with a good shower . Rituals brand of shower gels & hair products provided. The hotel bar was lively and the staff very friendly and kind enough to speak English. Overall, I feel we couldn't have picked a better hotel

the hotel is very well positioned (close to the highway) but it's a fairly quiet area. Very good food for both breakfast and dinner. I chose them for the simple fact that they can also offer food for people with food intolerances. I was very impressed by the fact that they also have gluten-free pizza. the staff is very attentive to details. the rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. we will definitely return to this location

The staff were amazing. It is a family business, and it is run with love. The young couple who run the hotel and the wine business are extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. We took a wine tasting and the knowledge of the host was very strong and informative. We bought a lot of very pleasant wine as a result. The views from the hotel (rooms and restaurant) are beautiful. The spa facilities were a lovely relief after a hard day's cycling. The food in the restaurant was prepared carefully and thoughtfully and was tasty. Excellent breakfasts.

The view from the infinity swimming pool is really amazing. I’ve never experienced anything more luxurious feeling. Plus they’ve got bottles of wine and glasses available in the pool/spa area at a good price offered via an honour system. A nice idea! Otherwise the hotel offered excellent food (loved the veggie burger) had super nice staff and dining on the terrace for dinner and breakfast was truly lovely! Plus a really excellent breakfast selection! <3 Kaiserschmarren included!! Plus a room upgrade. So absolutely a top location!

This hotel was in the middle of a winery. The staff were so welcoming upon our arrival and gave us many insights of where to visit in the surrounding area. We hired mountain bikes which I would recommend as a great way to see the surrounding countryside which was absolutely stunning. The hotel breakfast choice is one of the best we have had anywhere. The room and facilities are first class and I would highly recommend a short break if ever visiting Austrian wineries.

Graz is a wonderful city with so much to see and explore.

Graz is a wonderful city with so much to see and explore. The city is always bustling with locals and tourists alike. There are food stalls everyday in the Main Square right next to where you can catch the trams to neighbouring towns and villages. The Old Town of Graz offers some beautiful buildings, eateries and is steeped in history. There is the Glockenspiel where two little puppet dancers come out when the clock strikes on the hour. This is such a sight to see. The restaurants and cafes in Graz are second to none catering for all diets and cuisines. Another favourite place is Flanns the local Irish pub which serves excellent beers and wines. All in all an excellent and interesting place for a holiday.

Amazing ski resort - the slopes are of incredibly high quality, lifts are modern and maintained to an excellent degree, and there is a huge choice of slopes - the ski pass includes five different areas, and you can even drive to Flachau and ski there as well. There is a bus that you can take to all the different locations in case you don't want to drive, and some of the ski areas are also connected by lifts. Unfortunately we went in early March, when the temperatures were really high - I saw 14 degrees on one slope! This didn't make for a great skiing experience in the afternoon as the snow was melting into a slush, so I'd recommend anyone going in early March to get half day passes and ski in the morning until lunchtime, then relax in the sauna or one of the many apres-ski bars.

they canceled my stay without giving a reason. I wanted to fulfill his son's dream for his birthday. I don't understand this behavior. I have to sell tickets to the circuit now and I have other costs involved that I will claim in court!

Very beautiful place to spend a few days or even more than a week. Plenty things to do - hiking, spa relax, good restaurants, beautiful sceneries. In Bad Aussee there are several places to eat or buy groceries. Whithin a few minutes you reach a lake to swim or a beginning of a hiking path. Good position for visiting Hallstadt, Bad Ischl or Salzburg. If you want to have dinner in a restaurant it is good to make a reservation otherwise you may have a problem to get seats.

Leoben is a small, pretty town. My hotel Gastof Zum Grief had a superb location, literally 2 minutes from the main square and right by the river. It’s easy to walk around Leoben which has many bars and restaurants in and off the main square. Lovely country walks by the river and also a shopping centre in the main square. I ate in San Marco, Trattoria Roma, Zum Greif, Stadt Meierei,and Schwarzer Adler - all very good.

There are also two spa in the village. H2O is visited by many families with children. We preferred the Heilthermen. Here you could really relax in peace and quiet. There are also nice castles nearby (e.g. Herberstein) which are worth a visit.

Simply walking along the roads and enjoying the views and...

Simply walking along the roads and enjoying the views and nature was our favorite part. It feels peaceful, far away from city lights and noise – almost like stepping back in time. There is an especially good pizzeria in Gamlitz. They were incredibly kind and even made fresh bread for us on a Sunday when everything else was closed. Getting around is very easy, even without a car. Cycling and walking are perfect activities. We were also lucky to visit during a chess event, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

An absolutely beautiful area near public transportation that...

An absolutely beautiful area near public transportation that can take you anywhere you want to go. The hotel restaurant was great for breakfast and lunch and was so convenient. You must take the train into the main square in Graz and enjoy bratwurst at one of the local food stands and take the lift in Schlossberg Hill. Breathtaking views and there's a slide to take you back down to the bottom if you dare.

I liked the city, atmosphere , young people everywhere, cobble streets and restaurants. I recommended Eggenberg palace - very good exhibition and park, schlossberg place, Austrian sculpture park and Sunday concert in in Cathedral.

Schladming is a great location for skiing/snowboarding and...

Schladming is a great location for skiing/snowboarding and the restaurants, both in town and on the mountains, serve good food at reasonable prices (for ski resorts). Train transfers are easy from larger cities (we came in from Salzburg) and the buses are frequent and convenient for moving up and down the valley. If you want variety in your ski experience then you can't do better than basing yourself in Schladming.
