Day 1 - Room was too small with no balcony and was facing the street, very noisy and over priced. Lovely area lots of shops, cafes and restaurants.
Lovely area lots of shops, cafes and restaurants. Recommend using public transport which was very good and much better than taking your own car. On our next visit we would definitely not book LaPromenade Apartments in Tay Avenue, Caloundra as the only good thing about our apartment was the view. Our apartment on second floor 204 had uncomfortable outdated seating in lounge and old rusty seating on balcony and apartment was dirty when we arrived. Problem with La Promenade is that all apartments are individually owned and the owners of our apartment had done no maintenance, other than buy a new electric frying pan. Bed was comfortable but the shower and shower base, taps and surroundings like tiles and skirting boards were dirty, dusty and lots of hair everywhere on the floor. I had to clean the shower, toilet and bathroom floor which took over two hours until I felt I could use the facility. There was a dirty cupboard in bathroom which was left open and full of dust seemed to have pipes in it. Management were notified of our concerns by email with photos but did nothing and had not checked our apartment prior to our arrival as they claimed they were busy and cleaner had been sick. We had to wait 7 days to get the rug in lounge room vacuumed. Otherwise we had a lovely holiday in Caloundra but happy to go home after two weeks.Guest review byJaneAustralia - 10.0

Noosa Heads is a well-known and popular spot for all ages with excellent choice in accommodation of all sorts. Hastings St has fabulous selection of retailers, restaurants and cafes with many undergoing serious renovations. The variety and excellence of restaurants within a two kilometre radius is simply first-class. Highly recommended for all ages, especially in southern Australia's winter. Does get rather busy in school holidays for obvious reasons.Guest review byMinettiAustralia - 10.0

We have been travelling to Mooloolaba for over 25 years, and just love it. We have watched it develop from an underdeveloped “little sister” to Noosa, to a thriving superstar of a location. It is definitely the best beach on the Sunshine Coast. The town planners have done an excellent job of making Mooloolaba a wonderful place to visit. From the boardwalk to the strengthening of the sand dunes/sea wall, to the vegetation surrounding the town, and the fabulous picnic areas and playgrounds for the public. Business owners have responded with many, many wonderful restaurants, shops and other services. Most of the buildings, I noticed when we very recently visited, have been revamped and there is much more parking with a cleverly disguised multi-level car park. Mooloolaba has my heart, and if you visit, it will have yours, also.Guest review byLahiffAustralia - 8.0

We stayed at Apartment 14 & were very disappointed with the level of cleanliness. The carpets were dirty and in need of a professional clean. There was visible dirt on the floors, with the tiled areas sticky underfoot. The ensuite sink had not been cleaned with sand left on the counter and the shower still had hair inside. The top of the fridge was dusty and dirty and the furniture, particularly the couches had sweat mark from continual use and had not been cleaned. The balcony was also covered in sand and bird droppings. Overall, the apartment felt unclean and poorly maintained. We paid for 2 nights but left after 1. I have photos I can share.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0
A good area for both couples & families.
A good area for both couples & families. An option to 'go casual' and either get takeaway, have a BBQ or picnic by the river, or enjoy one of the many cafes/restaurants along the esplanade. We had dinner at "Barefoot", being our 3rd meal/time there and again found the food, service and atmosphere very good. Although finding a car park a little difficult it is A LOT better than trying to find a park at Noosa Heads.Guest review byJoanAustralia - 10.0

The beach was nice and there was a good variety of eateries close by. The bus service was great to use. It was also a good base to travel to some other destinations like Eumundi Market and Australia Zoo.Guest review byBrett HandAustralia - 10.0

Best is cleanliness and staffs were all helpful and friendly. Parking was plenty and secured. Just one thing with TV, I couldn’t link to their wifi so I couldn’t watch Netflix but overall was amazing. Definitely will choose to stay here again when I’m up for work.Guest review byMsOnnichaAustralia - 10.0

Montville is a gorgeous town in the Sunshine Coast hinterland .. I just love it and keep coming back. So close to everything - including beaches, shopping centres - yet far enough away to escape from the world! Cool winters, open fireplaces and autumn leaves make the place even more special.Guest review byJoanneAustralia - 10.0

Maleny is a quaint, beautiful and magical place. We loved the trail from the property into town, loved to walk around the little boutique shops and also great that all amenities can be bought there. The pharmacy isn't open on Sunday's so take note. We recommend booking restaurants ahead of time.Guest review byKelly FenningAustralia - 10.0
