- From $505.75 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Excellent - What previous guests thought, 310 reviewsLocation on the beach is like paradise. The room was excellent - spacious and worth everything you can need - including a washing machine and dryer. The staff were so lovely. The parking was easy. And the proximity to Daintree and all its associated beauty was fabulous. Swimming in the ocean is in a guarded area - which is important because of the crocodile risk!Guest review byHowardIsrael

Palm Cove had a laid back vibe, great beaches and views and lots of places to eat. The restaurants were good quality with plenty of seating. There are numerous spas for massages and treatments and some beachy clothes shops. A shopping centre with a Coles supermarket was only a few minutes drive away.Guest review byMelindaAustralia - 10.0
Parking was only issue.
Parking was only issue. We had to park on street as no spaces left. I was celebrant for a wedding at wongaling beach. Had meal at Mission beach resort prompt service but short on gluten-free choices as husband coeliac. Coffee spots limited we walked 12km to get coffee from wongaling beach to south mission beach. Road works an issue at Mission beach.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
The little village has everything you need.
The little village has everything you need. Great places to eat with lots of choices of types of food. The little convenience store has what you need for a quick shop like the essentials of milk, bread, veggies and drinks. There is a beautiful women’s clothes shop next to the convenience store that has Italian Linen clothes which are beautiful and the staff are super friendly and accommodating. I was a female solo traveler and I felt safe the whole time I was there.Guest review byDeborahAustralia - 8.0
Wonderful area with lots of natural attractions.
Wonderful area with lots of natural attractions. Highly recommended for nature lovers, hikers and anyone who wants to get away from it all. Getting away from it all includes not a whole lot of phone reception, so take a printed map. Limited groceries available so if you are self catering best to shop beforehand in Cairns or Mossman.Guest review byChristineNew Zealand - 10.0

There’s so much to see and do in and around Atherton, from nature walks and water falls to cafes and strawberry picking to gemstones and geocaching and everything in between. The cooler weather is a welcome escape from the humidity of the coastal areas. Accommodation types are many and varied so there is something to suit every budget. The Tablelands are a food lovers paradise with a relaxed country vibe.Guest review byNiss1234Australia - 10.0

Yungaburra is a very quaint "old-world" town, great history, centrally located for day-trips to the crater lakes and waterfalls. If you are into platypus spotting, this is the place to be, with well sign-posted walking trails and information along the local river. The town itself had several cafes, a pub and a couple of restaurants. There was a small shopping centre, butcher, etc to cater for food supplies.Guest review byDazzaAustralia - 4.0
To add to flying fish review -we found it unpalatable.
To add to flying fish review -we found it unpalatable. We booked for 5 nights but only stayed 2 due the fact there was no cafe at flying fish point although advertised. Also the staff were unavailable. Key was left with yard man as no one in office. Husband is disabled and it rained entire 2 days and when returning to cabin from car there was no mat inside to wipe feet on therefore floor was wet and hubby slipped over and injured himself so we returned home early. We are on age pensions and was trying to get hubby out of the house and it turned out to be hell.Guest review byLorisAustralia
