- From $437.47 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Excellent - What previous guests thought, 310 reviewsThe location was fantastic, so close to everything. It was beautiful walking along under the swaying Palm trees in both directions. We had 3 pools to choose from. Our room was located on the top floor, which meant we had an unobstructed view of the main pool and the beautiful entrance, lined with palm and botanical plants. Our apartment was amazing, a home-from-home feel with a huge corner built-in settee. It was clean, tidy, and very well presented. Our bed was so comfy, we had our apartment cleaned and new linens provided without a request to do so. At night, it became a magical Oasis with the night lights enhancing the beauty of everything around it.Guest review bySusanNew Zealand
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 869 reviewsWe had a wonderful stay in a 2-bedroom swim-out apartment, which was perfect for our family. The space was thoughtfully designed with plenty of storage, and the beds were super comfortable. It’s a little further out of town, but we appreciated the quiet, peaceful surroundings. The staff were warm, helpful, and made us feel right at home. A real highlight was the excellent café just a short walk away, serving delicious breakfast and lunch with beautiful river views—we went every day. We also loved relaxing on our patio each afternoon and stepping straight into the pool.Guest review byMarieUnited States

The rooms are gorgeous and clean and so unique. The whole area is remote (so a car is helpful) but it’s close enough to all the key things in the region. The food was amazing and everything about this place was just perfection!Guest review byKathleenUnited States

Plenty to see in and about Cairns.
Plenty to see in and about Cairns. This was our base and with our own vehicle it was very easy to get around. We took the Sky Rail to Kuranda and returned by train to Freshwater Station and it was a most enjoyable experience. The train only runs twice a day therefore if wishing to return this way, then it pays to book in advance as train seats are limited. The Pier has an array of waterfront venues to choose from offering a variety of food. Most cafes and restaurants have a Menu on display outside the venue. There is even a Brewery further down near the Cruise Terminal. The decor and now the digital fish flooring is definitely worth a visit to the Casino. Good food opportunities here too! Centenary Lakes/Botanic Gardens, Copperlode Dam along with the Crystal Cascades at Redlynch and the Red Beret Hotel are must visits.Guest review bySandraAustralia - 10.0
Loads of beautiful restaurants, shops and places to visit.
Loads of beautiful restaurants, shops and places to visit. Greta spot to have as a base to visit surrounding areas. People were all really nice and helpful. We ate at Jungle Fowl awesome food, Tin Shed was great place to meet up with friends to enjoy the waterfront and the food was lovely, and Han Court Chinese was scrumptious. We did day trips to Cairns to catch boat to Fitzroy Island and enjoyed lunch there, had an amazing dinner at Coco's Kitchen in Cairns that night we both had a Lobster that was superb. Caught the train from Freshwater Station to Kuranda for the day, we paid for Gold Class which served great local food and drinks, fab trip up and back. We also did a Sunset cruise out of Port Douglas on Lady Douglas, that was nice.Guest review byLesleyAustralia - 10.0

Palm Cove had a laid back vibe, great beaches and views and lots of places to eat. The restaurants were good quality with plenty of seating. There are numerous spas for massages and treatments and some beachy clothes shops. A shopping centre with a Coles supermarket was only a few minutes drive away.Guest review byMelindaAustralia - 10.0
Parking was only issue.
Parking was only issue. We had to park on street as no spaces left. I was celebrant for a wedding at wongaling beach. Had meal at Mission beach resort prompt service but short on gluten-free choices as husband coeliac. Coffee spots limited we walked 12km to get coffee from wongaling beach to south mission beach. Road works an issue at Mission beach.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
The little village has everything you need.
The little village has everything you need. Great places to eat with lots of choices of types of food. The little convenience store has what you need for a quick shop like the essentials of milk, bread, veggies and drinks. There is a beautiful women’s clothes shop next to the convenience store that has Italian Linen clothes which are beautiful and the staff are super friendly and accommodating. I was a female solo traveler and I felt safe the whole time I was there.Guest review byDeborahAustralia - 10.0
Cape Tribulation is an amazing, beautiful place.
Cape Tribulation is an amazing, beautiful place. You can walk along the long, beautiful beach with the ocean on one side and tropical rainforest on the other. When you walk back into the rainforest you are on a boardwalk which takes you through huge mangroves then through the tropical rainforest with a stunning variety of rainforest trees and other plants. You see lots of butterflies as well as birds, goannas and fruit bats. It is a place that fills you with awe.Guest review bySylviaAustralia - 10.0

There’s so much to see and do in and around Atherton, from nature walks and water falls to cafes and strawberry picking to gemstones and geocaching and everything in between. The cooler weather is a welcome escape from the humidity of the coastal areas. Accommodation types are many and varied so there is something to suit every budget. The Tablelands are a food lovers paradise with a relaxed country vibe.Guest review byNiss1234Australia - 10.0

Yungaburra is a very quaint "old-world" town, great history, centrally located for day-trips to the crater lakes and waterfalls. If you are into platypus spotting, this is the place to be, with well sign-posted walking trails and information along the local river. The town itself had several cafes, a pub and a couple of restaurants. There was a small shopping centre, butcher, etc to cater for food supplies.Guest review byDazzaAustralia - 4.0
To add to flying fish review -we found it unpalatable.
To add to flying fish review -we found it unpalatable. We booked for 5 nights but only stayed 2 due the fact there was no cafe at flying fish point although advertised. Also the staff were unavailable. Key was left with yard man as no one in office. Husband is disabled and it rained entire 2 days and when returning to cabin from car there was no mat inside to wipe feet on therefore floor was wet and hubby slipped over and injured himself so we returned home early. We are on age pensions and was trying to get hubby out of the house and it turned out to be hell.Guest review byLorisAustralia
