They made our stay as comfortable as possible. Parking - Covered underground parking is so convenient when you arrive with the family and kids. Small things like this matter a lot as you don't have to worry, rain or shine. Location - Couldn't be a better location at Lorne. Stone's throw away to all shops, eateries and the beach. We chose the ocean view apartment and the view was just awesome! Room - It was very clean with thoughtful aesthetics and lighting, with all amenities including dishwashing tablets, hand washing liquid and detergents for laundry. A well-equipped kitchen was very helpful to keep the kids well fed. The spa bath was so relaxing and added bonus was the window in the spa with beach view. Pool area - Baby pool, spa bath and the main pool all had heated water. There is a sauna and a gym, and shower and change facilities. All clean and renovated. A great range of places to visit ! Rio Vista is a time capsule of living in the past and well worth the visit. The Botanical Gardens were a lovely place to walk and enjoy native plants as well as examples from other continents. The map was easy to follow. It would be even more spectacular in Spring . Walking by the Murray was very tourist friendly- great paths and excellent cafe. A great range of take away foods are available if you don't want to eat out . Really enjoyed our hour long cruise on the “Canberra” Paddle Steamer. The American Hotel was a lovely experience with live music and great food. Lots of fantastic places to eat, any time of the day.
