Perth is a good city but I’d really recommend getting a car and driving to the rest of Western Australia. Further north is really nice (Exeter) and down south - even Fremantle is fantastic, but I’d recommend going to Margaret river and further to esperance!
A town an hour from.Perth with so much historic value. The old antique and collectable shops are amazing. I recommended a relaxing weekend away for those living in Western Australia and tourists also. Hills, mountains and rivers.
A pretty city with many sights and attractions. Perth is also a great base to start your road trip to see the many attractions of Western Australia.
Forests fantastic but that applies to the south of Western Australia where ever you travel. Early in week(Monday night) most restaurants that are highly rated are closed. Food at Great Western hotel disgraceful and thus significantly overpriced - salad bar a joke!
Stunningly beautiful region of Western Australia. Something for everyone. Wineries, stunning beaches, beautiful bush & scenery, art studios and galleries, artisan shops, op shops, beautifully situated restaurants and cafes. Great bakery!!
Beautiful views, lovely little restaurant... pack a picnic basket if you feel like something different. The Western Australia Botanical Garden, which is situated in the same place is worth a visit even if you just stroll through
Margaret River region is an eclectic collection of different things. Scenery, friendly locals, overpriced food and drink and a general feel of, "that the way it was when the economy was high, in the boom, why change things?" The general feel to this traveller was that the average holiday maker would spend at a different range of sources if the pricing were more realistic to actual cost. Compared with other wine producing areas, Western Australia demands excessive expenditure on basics, as well as higher end consumables.
Spent time in Broome took a tour to Kimberley and stayed at Kooljaman at Cape Leveque what a 'gem' of our great Western Australia and was so glad we got to experience all these great places another box ticked off our 'bucket list' Leigh and Glen Evans
Just amazed everywhere we went there were views of ocean and islands. Never envisaged this was possible in Western Australia. Driving around the town and suburbs was a breeze and no traffic lights, not one. Instead many small round abouts , which made for very easy and hassle free movement of traffic. The standard of all tourist attractions was excellent. Signage and access and viewing facilities were first class. Eating choices were many and varied and all good quality.
Love this park! Western Australian flora well marked and I enjoy the steep tracks for good leg workout!

I loved everything about this accommodation. A sublime week of R&R in Denmark, Western Australia. A spacious, pristine, chalet with a spa and an unlimited supply of free wood for the wood fired heater, where my dog and I were made so welcome. A wild and wintery Denmark at it's best I reckon. My only regret was that I couldn't stay longer!!

The bird hide is in the middle of the forest near Nannup, Western Australia right next to a river, quite fast flowing at the time of our visit. We were free to roam as we wanted and enjoyed walking in the forest where we saw kangaroos and wallabies. If you like the quiet life this is a good place to go. The cabin was spotless inside and out.

The attention to detail made this the best property we stayed in in Western Australia. The host was friendly, the room was cosy and beautifully furnished and the views were great. We were left loads of goodies for breakfast and afternoon tea, which were a treat. I rarely give top marks, but this property deserved it.

For a refurbished motel, the owners have excelled. The staff were fantastic, the guests their first priority. We didn’t eat in the restaurant but the room service dish was very good. The shower was the old fashioned strong flow. The gardens have been replanted with Western Australian native plants.

We found the location service facilities and the breakfast far best in the south west of Western Australia. We loved the town of Albany and the Accommodation we would recommend for a short or long stay. Very informative on surrounding attractions to visit.

Uniquely designed house amongst tall Karri trees with picturesque views across Wilson Inlet from most rooms. Features a daily parade of Western Australia's many amazing wild bird species viewed from the surrounding balcony.

The lovely accommodation at Serenity Murray Waters. The location was so peaceful. Glynis and Doug were such a lovely couple. I will certainly stay at their lovely B&B when I next travel to Western Australia.
