Super friendly staff that went above and beyond to make our stay very special. We got spoiled with a few surprises as we were in the hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I can not recommend enough this hotel. Location was also great! I hope I can come back to Ghent at some point and I would 100% stay again with Pillows Grand Boutique Hotel.Guest review byFernandaNetherlands
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.0Very Good - What previous guests thought, 2,032 reviewsThe property has a very pleasant atmosphere. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was so roomy (king size bedroom). The breakfast we paid a little extra for (€20 each) was “all you can eat” and was a good breakfast with lots of variety. We would definitely look up this place again if we ever get over to Ghent again!Guest review byMichaelCanada

Second generation took over very succesfully, keeping the offered service at the same high standards. Very well situated for business purpose, but also very comfortable, clean and cosy atmosphere.Guest review bySpyros73Greece

We only stayed overnight and didn't have any extra needs. It is nicely accessible with a car, and based on the price, one would expect a smooth experience.Guest review byJan_PrCzech Republic

We used Ghent as our base.. we traveled from ghent to Brugges and Antwerp multiple times Easy transportation to other cities Pleasant city with a quieter feel if you prefer that. Brugges super busy with tour groups and Antwerp just very big Getting around ghent is super easy. Many restaurants and cafes that serve delicious food.Guest review byEdnaUnited States - 6.0

It is ok to visit St Niklaas for 1 day as it is small town. It is good in combination with the visit to Antwerp. There are few historical sights. The restaurants usually close at 22.00 so make sure that you go to eat on time.Guest review byNataliaBelgium - 10.0

Lovely little town right between Brussels and Ghent - so perfect location to explore both cities if you have a car. The village itself is peaceful, clean and green with lots of helpful people who speak English and French. There is an amazing little tavern in the village where we stayed, but many more restaurants in the town.Guest review byElizabethUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Oudennarde is a lovely town with a beautiful square in the centre. It's a great place to have a Belgian beer and watch the world go by. There are plenty of places to eat but Margarethas is by far the best. It might appear to be expensive but you get excellent food for your money. A walk by the river is recommended - especially on a sunny day. Additionally, Donk Lake is also a lovely place for a walk - or to watch the wake boarders. Unfortunately, it rained every day while we were there. A trip to Ghent is probably recommended if you spend more than two to three nights here.Guest review byLenUnited Kingdom - 10.0

beautiful historic town ,very friendly people. parking was plentiful and once you got to grip with the language most directions were easy to follow. for people with the love of biking, this area is idyllic and very safe. we were impressed with the facilities both on and of the road side for mobility scooters and wheelchairs, often taking priority over cars and other traffic. everywhere was so clean and especially public conveniences. there were nice straight roads to other areas such as Sint-Niklaas and Sint- Pauwels , tempse. many sightseeing spots. Overall atmosphere was friendly and laid back. we are hoping to visit againGuest review byAndreaUnited Kingdom - 8.0

The buildings and architecture reflect the age of the buildings, but the buildings have been well maintained. The people are friendly, helpful and will assist the visitor in way they can. The prices are moderate and so shopping and dining are first rate.Guest review byEvanAustralia - 10.0

Close to the motorway network in a quiet affluent suburb of Ghent. Riverside location High quality hotel with good staff. The house wine was a Grand Cru St Emilion, and was outstanding! Good parking, altogether a nice place to stay after a long day in a 70 year old car! geared to corporate / events / anniversaries, but looked after us very well. It rounded off a 7 day 1500 mile driving holiday really well...and comfortably under two hours to the Tunnel.Guest review byDavidUnited Kingdom - 10.0

A gem in Belgium, where bicycles rule and there is a laid back feeling... I felt it was a bit like central Amsterdam with the canals, boats and cafés and bikes. There are many things to visit, if you are into culture, and the clothes shopping is very tempting! You can find any type of cuisine, it seems, and the prices are decent for the quality and volume served. I found the service everywhere quick and efficient, and every time I asked to speak in English it was met with a 'no problem' response. The river boat trip lasting about 40 mins means you can see the town from another angle and brush up on your history.Guest review byMarie-ChristinePortugal
