A beautiful area. I was traveling by bicycle and the area had abundant smooth, safe bike paths. Good restaurants, shopping, historical sites. Cannot truthfully give one. That is not a negative review. We went to a nearby town to find a restaurant which was fine when we had a meal at 20.00hrs approximately. As a firearms enthusiast and gunsmith I would have loved to see the FN factory and museum. Unfortunately I was there for work and didn’t have much time to explore the area well. However on daily trips to work we saw a fair bit of the immediate surroundings . The Waimes Area of villages near to the Hautes Fagnes is okay but we prefer the other side of the border; Eifel. The villages are nicer and the facilities better (shops, supermarkets, points of interests) We had a lot of snow so the Hautes Fagnes were beautiful! In Spring or autumn we would prefer the Eifel for a better landscape withmore diversity and valleys, mountains. A combination is perfect.Guest review byFransNetherlands - 8.0
