Liege was disappointing. It was untidy with a scruffy feel. Many homeless people and drug taking in plain sight. A beautiful area. I was traveling by bicycle and the area had abundant smooth, safe bike paths. Good restaurants, shopping, historical sites. Cannot truthfully give one. That is not a negative review. We went to a nearby town to find a restaurant which was fine when we had a meal at 20.00hrs approximately. The Waimes Area of villages near to the Hautes Fagnes is...
The Waimes Area of villages near to the Hautes Fagnes is okay but we prefer the other side of the border; Eifel. The villages are nicer and the facilities better (shops, supermarkets, points of interests) We had a lot of snow so the Hautes Fagnes were beautiful! In Spring or autumn we would prefer the Eifel for a better landscape withmore diversity and valleys, mountains. A combination is perfect.Guest review byFransNetherlands - 6.0

As a firearms enthusiast and gunsmith I would have loved to see the FN factory and museum. Unfortunately I was there for work and didn’t have much time to explore the area well. However on daily trips to work we saw a fair bit of the immediate surroundings .
