Rooms are spacious and cosy, very-well insulated against cold and noise. Exceedingly friendly staff greeted us and helped with our requests. Breakfast buffet definitely exceeded the expectations. 20-25 minutes drive to Brugge center. Would definitely stay here again.

We liked everything about this place. Starting from decor to the breakfast everything was perfect. The owner is a really nice person and we had a lovely chat about the local produce, his life and the surrounding. I would probably go back to his place again, but for more days.

    This was the perfect spot for visiting the Bruges/Ghent/Maldegem area. 15 minutes to Bruges by car, 25 minutes to Ghent by train, 25 minutes to the beach. The hospitality is so warm and welcoming, with the most amazing breakfasts. We loved visiting the horses every morning after breakfast, and going for walks in the quiet country-side in the evenings, a perfect bookend to visiting busy cities. The beds were very comfortable, the rooms were very clean, and the host takes special care in her attention to detail. We have recommended all our friends consider staying here.

    We arrived much later than expected, still our host was there waiting for us with a smile. Everything was very clean and we had all comfort needed. Many places to park, nice terrace to enjoy the fresh air and relax a bit. Woke up with a nice and more diverse than expected breakfast. The host is super nice and takes care of all guests. Very easy to get to the location and really good if you want to be in the Brugge area. Really recommend.

    Didn't see much of town as I was involved elsewhere, but it had some bistros and restaurants. It was a clean and tidy place, parking was good near the hotel. A good base to tour north-west Belgium. Very close to main roads.

    Maldegem has all that you really need, nice restaurants, A la Carte and Fast food, supermarkets, petrol stations as well. Not much in the way of shopping that we could see but probably just didn't find them!

    Evergem was a great spot outside of the city.

    Evergem was a great spot outside of the city. It avoids parking/ charges for cars which are in place. We walked to a local restaurant, La Bussola, and would recommend. The food was superb; really great mommas Italian style cooking and very reasonable value too. Our children really enjoyed. Brielken tram stop is free to park and just a 20 minute ride to the Castle in the centre (€3 per ride or bulk buy tram rides/City Card includes tram for free) From Sept 2025 this route from Brielken into the city will be closed for renovation but buses can be caught/drive to another tram line.
