- From £128.87 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very Good - What previous guests thought, 343 reviewsMy stay at Hotel Auberge D'Alle was absolutely delightful! From start to finish, our experience at this charming hotel exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect for those seeking a peaceful escape in the Belgian countryside. Nestled amidst picturesque landscapes, the hotel offers a serene and tranquil environment that truly allows you to unwind and reconnect with nature. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. We felt like valued guests from the moment we arrived. The rooms were cozy, well-appointed, and spotlessly clean. The rustic decor added a touch of authenticity to the experience, and the comfortable beds ensured a good night's sleep. One of the standout features of this hotel is the on-site restaurant. The dining experience was superb, with a menu that showcased the finest local cuisine. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. Exploring the surrounding area was a pleasure, with many attractions and outdoor activities within a short drive. We particularly enjoyed the proximity to hiking trails and historical sites, making it an ideal base for exploring the region. In summary, Hotel Auberge D'Alle offers a perfect blend of comfort, hospitality, and natural beauty. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat in Belgium, I highly recommend this hidden gem. We'll definitely be returning for another visit in the future!Guest review byRodrigo UbatubaCyprus
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.0Very Good - What previous guests thought, 2,078 reviews⸻ I searched for a hotel with breakfast included through your website and found and booked this hotel. The total price was €753, including taxes and breakfast. However, when we arrived at the hotel, we were told that for one of the rooms (a four-person room), we had to pay separately for breakfast. In the end, we paid €822. The hotel staff explained that it was written somewhere under the details of one of the rooms that it didn’t include breakfast — but this was not clear at all to us. We found this quite unprofessional and unfair, as we expected everything to be transparent and the final price to include breakfast as indicated.Guest review byMahsaBelgium

The underground of the citadel; the museum les bateliers are worth the visit. A jump in the history! Les jardins d’eau d’Annevoie, very peaceful and emotional visit within the path of the water. La ville de Dinant, 30 min by train. Le château de Freyr All those were our coups de cœurGuest review byCatherineCanada - 8.0

We didn't allow enough time to explore the city and the surrounding area. We should have rented bikes to ride up and down the river. Definitely have a look at the citadel as the views are spectacular.Guest review byJamesUnited States - 10.0

The wildlife park was fantastic: weather was on our side and we basically spent all day in the park, walking, watching animals, hunting Easter eggs. The bears were of course the most popular feature. For our kids (3 + 5 yo), the walking tour was the best way to get them as close to nature as possible; after 4k, we took up the option to use the shuttle on the way back - a great blend, and also allowed us to get up and close to the Perzewalksi and deer groups grazing in the valley. Late afternoon, we did the 1h15min Grotte tour: pack an additional sweater for that and be mindful of likely mud stains. French and Dutch tours available which was ok for us - no English though. Food/snack options throughout the park were limited, many kiosk cars still closed even though it was Easter. Maybe more is available in summer, but for now: best to pack your own snacks and lunch etc for picknick. The Domaine de San Han was our main reason for going and takes an entire day to explore. However, there are many other destinations nearby, old castles, beautiful parks, etc... Great family friendly destination in beautiful landscape...Guest review byLisaNetherlands - 8.0

Not a bad little town in an area with lots of good places to visit e.g. Dinant and Bouillon. Good restaurants. We tried 3 different ones from cheap to quite expensive and all were good. Hotel experiences were not so good. One was expensive and the other one had no staff in it. Perhaps we were unlucky. Not a lot to do in the town apart from the cave and the big church.Guest review byNiall RowanUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Such a beautiful area, perfect get away if seeking a peaceful holiday with plenty of things to do if you want a more active break. Thoroughly recommend hiring a kayak. We had a fantastic time paddling down the semois ( 17km) stopping at a beautiful riverside restaurant ( le troquet plage) on the way down. Pizza restaurant in the town was very very good. Loved the little tapas bar ( le barbiche)near the bridge. Definitely worth a visit if you enjoy a Belgian beer.Guest review byRachelMalaysia - 10.0

We stayed at Vallée Les Etoiles, and we did not spend much time in Blaimont itself. We went to Hastiere to do shopping, and we visited Dinant multiple times during our stay, to enjoy the city and to eat out. We went on hikes nearby, we especially enjoyed a 18km hike from Hermeton-Sur-Meuse and a 10km hike on top of the Freyr rocks and overseeing Waulsort.Guest review byAnitaBelgium - 10.0

Romantic location in the Meuse Valley, good restaurants and good basis for discovering the region - jardins d´annevoie (a 18th century castle with extended watergardens - a must), dinant, Furfooz, Celles, Namur and the wider Ardennes.Guest review byBroccoliusSpain - 10.0

We stayed at Namur the previous year, but only for one night as en route to Luxemburg. Decided to come back for a couple of nights. It is a beautiful city with lots of lovely shops and restaurants. Great views of the city from the Citadel which can be reached by cable car. We did that on our last trip. This time we took a tourist boat along the river and it was most enjoyable. However, commentary, was not in English, but we enjoyed the sights anyway. It is a very clean and pretty city.Guest review byJacquelineUnited Kingdom - 8.0
Lovely town on the river with an amazing church.
Lovely town on the river with an amazing church. Overlooked by the cliff top fort. Unfortunately we didn't have time to visit this. In the town you can see the house of Adolphe Sax who invented the saxophone.Guest review byAngelaUnited Kingdom - 8.0
The wildpark is definitely worth a visit.
The wildpark is definitely worth a visit. We already knew the village since we visited it multiple times in the past. Other than for the Grottes de Han we would not recommend the village itself. Mercure Hotel is very comfortable and nice but other than that there's not much of a vibe in the area. Chez Herman restaurant is good value for money. Arthur (the restaurant of the new hotel Au lit des Ours is outrageously bad. Very pricey and disgusting food. If you like hiking we would recommend going to nearby Resteigne or Eprave. Very scenic walksGuest review byJGFKBelgium
