We can't really complain but we would have loved to see what the pools looked like and felt like when they were heated and when it was peak season! The pool bar being open was a plus, the restaurant was exceptional and everyone was beyond friendly 😁. Also very grateful for the shop in the complex. And the gym was cool and with the sauna it's a classic combo... didn't get to they the jacuzzi but definitely next time we will. Both of us are well into our retirement which meant Pomorie was perfect for both of us. The town centre and most of rest of town was in very easy walking distance from Suny Bay Hotel. Avoid the road between Varna and Nessebar, it is damaged and congested. Personally, I used DN5 Ruse-Polikraiște 90 km (very congested), then DN53 Polikraiște-Elena-Sliven-Krușare 133 km (superb, through the mountains, very free and recently renovated almost completely), A1 Krușare-Burgas 90 km, DN9 Burgas -Ravda 40 km (crowded but recently built as an expressway bypassing the resorts.Guest review byMarianRomania - 6.0

I liked that the beach was close, that there was an elevator in the hotel and the apartment we stayed in was fairly clean. It had a fully equipped but small kitchen. The sea is great. There are no big waves and no rocks - ideal for kids. There's plenty of space on the beach for a personal umbrella and towel. I didn't like that the beach was not being cleaned, there are no toilets or showers on the beach (thank god the hotel was very close). The elevator was very dirty. Also on the beach people would occupy the chairs and umbrellas by tying things to them like towels and no-one would clear this up even if there was a written rule that it's forbidden to do so.Guest review byAnonymousRomania - 6.0

Horrible, it is not a resort, it is a big dirty city, expensive and ugly ! There are much better places in the world where one could spend their money and time! Too bad for the ruined beautiful nature with overbuild areas without decent roads or parking spots. Could have been worse. It is a well developed place with many stores but not really good for a beach holiday - the beaches are tiny and there's nowhere to park if you are a visitor. Lots of new developments and multistorey apartment buildings very close to each other, which gives the place a big city vibe.
