The location is superb and the parking is very close. It costs 15 BGN per day. Great value for money and I highly recommend this hotel. A lovely, authentic place to relax and rest up while on a road trip in Bulgaria. Very clean, with a great balcony overlooking the back yard and the forest. We played with their many dogs, few cats, and fed the horse carrots we bought in the village store (2 minute walk). Breakfast was typical of the area, and sufficient. The property is on the main road, so it's easy to find, there is parking for guests. The couple is nice, accomodating, will chat with you, but don't bother you. Veliko Tyrnovo is a lovely town - bigger than I expected which means it had absolutely everything you might need. There is loads to see, and we will probably return to see more. I liked the rooms but one was not the best. TV was working on and off and the breakfast was too far to go to another building. I believe it could be cooked nicer as well and have a bit more choice. Only one coffee machine installed and when it got busy at the weekend it was very hard to get a hot drink and there was a long queue. Machine ran out of hot chocolate, could hardly find a table to sit to eat breakfast and it was not the best experience as the food ran out. I think there was a group of tourists, but they should have considered the capacity and the restaurant staff levels. The barbecue restaurant was nice, but there was no alcoholic drinks menu so I didn’t know how much the drinks cost.
