- From $95.54 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very Good - What previous guests thought, 179 reviewsEverything! I did not even want to leave to go explore the city because I loved it so much. The view from the balcony is the best place to see the sunset and the best view of the city in my opinion. There’s hot water in the sinks, plenty in the shower, hairdryer, heater in the room that you control, big spacious closet, a sitting area, fridge, etc. The bathroom was so clean I actually took a bath in the bathtub. It was just what I needed after so many months of traveling. I am glad I splurged a little, worth every penny! it’s also in a great location close to everything. Oh and the breakfast, wow 🤩Guest review byCrystalUnited States
- From $81 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 181 reviewsI loved my stay at Hotel San Felipe. I did my usual online research before booking the hotel and it did not disappoint. The room was wonderful, the common areas were beautiful (my favorite was the rooftop terrace), the location was amazing, the breakfast was lovely. and the entire staff were perfection. (Special thanks to Leslye and Maria Fernanda.) Sucre bewitched me -- I hope to return soon and, of course, stay at the Hotel San Felipe! PS. Wifi was reliable and fast!Guest review byLindaUnited States

Breakfast was excellent with bread, yogurt, cereal, fuit and eggs offered. I loved having natural light in the room and the bed was super comfy. I would definitely stay here again if I were in Sucre. Also, Jonathan was very helpful in arranging my taxi back to the airport.Guest review byHeatherUnited States

Sucre is the de-facto capital of Bolivia.
Sucre is the de-facto capital of Bolivia. It is rich in history with many museums available to visit. The city is exceptionally clean and its gardens are beautifully maintained. The 25th May Plaza is a realy nice shady place to sit and watch the world go by. Buildings are almost universally painted white (you will need some good sunglasses as the glare is strong) and well maintained. Plenty of quality restaurants with reasonably priced traditional and international meals. Friendly and helpful people but little English spoken.Guest review byRoderickBolivia - 10.0
We loved Sucre.
We loved Sucre. It retains an excellently restored and preserved Spanish colonial town center with its churches and monasteries. Everything within walking distance (at least for us); we never required car transport. The museum of the liberation period, the Casa de la Liberdade, was very interesting. The cathedral is magnificent and well maintained. English tours existed in all the museums we visited but there were very few time slots available so we made do with our reasonable Spanish skills.Guest review byAntonioUnited States - 10.0
This is perhaps the fifth time that I have visited Sucre...
This is perhaps the fifth time that I have visited Sucre with my partner. This time was for family reasons and not tourism. However, as always, Sucre - The White City - does not disappoint. We managed to go and see the indigenous show 'Origins' and combine the experience with dinner. This 'ethnic' history of Sucre was most enjoyable and I can thoroughly recommend it to all ages.Guest review byRoderickBolivia
