HOTEL IS OLD,NEEDS UPGRADES FRONT DESK STAFF NOT FRIENDLY BAD MANAGEMENT: -I waited for service at the pool for an hour. I went to front desk to complain, they said someone would be there in a bit, still took another half hour to have pool service. - I order one type of drink but it came another. -Out of the 4 machines at the fitness center(which had only 2 treadmils, 1 eliptical and 1 bike) only 1 was working. - Room keys had to be changed daily at front desk because the magnetic strips loose the power by the end of the day. -Hot water in the shower would go on/of making water either really cold or really hot. -No shower cap in the bathroom, when we asked for one at 9pm they told us to go downstairs to get it instead of bringing it to the room -There is a charge of R$5 for each silverware if you need one to eat at the room 😳 **The pleasant points at the hotel were: pool, breakfast and lady who served us at breakfast(Cassia), she was friendly and attentive to customers needs. I’ve lived here for five years, for undergrad studies at the University of São Paulo. The city has changed a lot since that time, it is now more vibrant, USP campi is much larger, two different locations. Olimpia is a small town that became famous for the thermal waters discovered in the 1950s. The thermas dos laranjais project is complete, it leaves nothing to be desired for first world developments. however, we are in a complicated time, with the pandemic present and active, and yet, people do not protect themselves adequately, walking around the park barefoot and without a mask, there is no social distance, and I have not seen alcohol gel for cleaning hands. We didn't have the courage to visit the other parks because of that. But we visited 2 small museums in the city, free and quite empty. For a walk it is very good. And to avoid any risks and still enjoy the trip, choosing a hotel with a complete leisure area is very useful.Guest review byAdrianaBrazil - 6.0
