- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 104 reviewsThe cabin was fabulous! We had our own parking space right near the front door. This made it very easy to unload our luggage and other items! The view from the cabin was of lake Patricia and it was a short walk to the lake itself. The interior of the cabin was just right. It had a sitting room with a gas fireplace. A kitchen with full size refrigerator freezer and stove. The bedroom was just the right size for a couple and the restroom was perfect! We wish we could have spent a week there but our travel plans did not permit us.Guest review byRichard HolmUnited States
- From CAD 500.86 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very Good - What previous guests thought, 580 reviewsFor a property that is over 100 years old it has been maintained very well. It was so nice to be right at the trail head to the Falls and we even did the entire hike to the Ink Pods. The communal BBQ area was perfect and our unit was perfect for having dogs with us as it was one of the back units. We also had a very restful stay and the claw foot tub was great for soaking after our 14 Km hike.Guest review byRochelleCanada

I was down for an event.
I was down for an event. I took taxis along the way, the drivers were so pleasant to ride with. The road construction was a bit tedious, but I did a lot of walking in the area, which I felt safe at night walking alone.Guest review byPerehudoff - 10.0

Banff was a great a place to shop but parking was a problem though I had a handicapped sign. The 9 hour tour we took in a 14 passenger van was wonderful. It is a beautiful park. I would recommend the Viator tour. We did hike the Hoodoo Trail near our Banff rocky Mountain resort and enjoyed Canmore, too as we are skiers. The Legacy bike trail was amazing though we did not bring our bikes this time.Guest review byKristenUnited States - 4.0
The city is not the most beautiful.
The city is not the most beautiful. Many areas in it feel like industrial. We stayed 3 days in this city, and besides Waterpark and museum, there was nothing that caught our interest. The downtown was grey and empty.Guest review bySashaCanada - 8.0

Canmore is a beautiful town with a fantastic position in the Rockies. We have been going regularly for several years and in my view it is being spoilt by a rush to build, build, build and its character is in serious danger of being ruined. Still worth a visit but go soon before it is completely ruined.Guest review byPeterFrance - 10.0

Jasper is a great place to visit with lots of activities in around the town. Whilst it was badly affected by the wildfire in 2024 and you obviously still see the effects of this around the area, the town is very much open as are most tourist attractions and we should all support them.Guest review byCraigUnited Kingdom - 6.0

Not what I expected with the cost of the accommodations in this town, thought maybe was a Canmore but not even close. Restaurants closed, Only bright spot was the Blend Kitchen and Bar restaurant, excellent!Guest review byGerry RansonCanada - 2.0

I paid nearly $800 per night expecting a quiet, nature-focused stay, as advertised on the hotel’s website. Instead, I was first given a noisy room, and then moved to another that smelled strongly of bleach and had a broken window. Despite my allergy, no alternative room was offered. The bleach fumes caused severe headaches that required painkillers, and by the second day, ants had entered the room. Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing and far from worth the price.Guest review byMaryamUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Red Deer is a beautiful place to visit with lots of treed parks, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, rec-centres, historic downtown and plenty of shopping. It is close to Sylvan Lake and Lacombe for added adventure and exploring.Guest review byJodyCanada - 4.0
Lethbridge used to be a beautiful, clean city.
Lethbridge used to be a beautiful, clean city. The homelessness, and drug trafficking have destroyed the city. There are unhoused, inebriated, and stoned people, staggering all over. Lethbridge and Alberta need to address the problem, and provide better help for addiction, and homes for people. I lived in the Lethbridge area for 60 years, but moved 7 years ago. I was saddened to see how much it has changed. My hotel was downtown, and I didn’t feel safe. Businesses I used to frequent were located in the middle of the homeless. I didn’t feel comfortable in Lethbridge.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

I loved walking the blocks around the Villa, with many new shops and services, and a revitalized vintage feel. There were places to shop and eat, though we were there on a Monday morning when most were closed. There are several beautiful old churches to admire, and a striking new city hall.Guest review byMarjorie FixCanada
