- From $311.38 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 411 reviewsReal, real classy hotel and you can easily see that at the front entrance where you're immediately greeted by valet in long stylish black coat. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Entire hotel exudes warmth in low-key luxury decor and definitely worth revisits over and over again if you're looking for a good holiday retreat. Rated No. 1 hotel in Canada in 2021 Visit the Pub if you can and try getting a table by the window with views to the hotel spa / open sea. Food is actually quite good, much exceeded our anticipation.Guest review byBear HsiaoTaiwan
- From $275.46 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.9Good - What previous guests thought, 278 reviewsThe room was great, overlooking the ocean and mountains. Everything was so clean, and I feel it was the best location in town! The hotel has its own little private beach, restaurants, and swimming pools. I arrived at the hotel early on check-in day, and there was a room available, so that was a plus. We stayed in the middle of February, the weather was chilly, so we couldn't really enjoy the outdoors pools or swim in any of the beaches, but we will definitely return in the summer!Guest review byJulianaBrazil
- From $315.40 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very Good - What previous guests thought, 106 reviewsLovely hotel and location. Our stay was short so did not use spa, pools etc. But we went for a wonderful walk through a nut farm and neighborhood with beautiful houses to admire! The lake was beautiful. Wish we had had a longer stay planned here! Room was comfortable and clean. Good coffee. Close to restaurants, starbucks and some stores. Only complaint is can't check in til 5pm and have to be out by 10 am. Most hotels 3 or 4 pm check in, and 11 am check out.Guest review byLaurieUnited States

I love Victoria. The old houses, the luxury apartments. The character of the downtown! I just love it. Traffic can get pretty bad and parking can be a challenge so I wouldn't visit in July or August if I could help it. But that ocean is always there, calling. Go.Guest review byDianaCanada - 10.0

We really enjoyed the Secwepemc Museum.
We really enjoyed the Secwepemc Museum. It was a little complicated to find and the museum is not big but well presented and organized and easy to navigate. The stories of the culture of the Secwepemc people, government involvement, and the boarding school were all well told and illustrated. The small gift shop had some interesting material for sale.Guest review byRoyUnited States - 8.0
Bed was comfortable.
Bed was comfortable. Had trouble with the tv and they came right away to fix. Service was. Good. The only thing I did not like was the room was carpeted and it was pet friendly. Should have been laminate. I could see some stains.Guest review byShirley TychkowskyCanada - 8.0

If staying here and Celiac, pre-order bread or goodies from Crumbs and Roses! We ate a couple of meals at Oak and Cru - need one of these back home! Had a great GF meal at the Curious Cafe. In need of a hat? Check out Riobranner! She has everything for any head shape or size. If you like chocolates check out Karat Chocolate & Pastry - macaroons! Another great stop is Mosaic Bookstore.Guest review byBrendaCanada - 10.0

We went to a lovely restaurant called Eleven 22 that was within 5 minutes walk of the complex and the staff there were very helpful. We had a brilliant time at the Golden Skywalk adventure (especially meeting up with Nathan) and did all the activities including the giant swing. Amazing 🤩Guest review byMargaretUnited Kingdom - 10.0

This wasn't our first trip to Nanaimo so we did know our way around most of the city and beyond, but it is always a great place to be. We love the well planned Harbour walkways, many events in the parks, the beach trails. Our favourite beach walks are Piper's Lagoon and Neck Point. There are many good music venues, restaurants, scenic drives and walks. We easily found side roads that were basically parallel to the highway to get to and from downtown. Nanaimo has has a LOT to offer any visitor of any age! Can't wait to return!Guest review byTerry & PatCanada - 10.0
I first visited Tofino 40 years ago.
I first visited Tofino 40 years ago. It is now more like a tourist spot and less like a fishing village. The natural beauty has not changed. The people are still very friendly. If you like biking you should plan for that. There is a 40 km bike path mostly through the forest, and mostly flat.Guest review byMarkCanada
