- From $150.10 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 6.9Pleasant - What previous guests thought, 32 reviewsI had such a memorable stay at Cabot shores. Special kudos to Sunny, Kritika and Rutwik for making me and my family feel at home. They also helped me with checkin date adjustment as i had an emergency. They went above and beyond to help us with our requests starting from getting our room ready early, providing a detailed overview of property to arranging food, helping with ad hoc requests such as hot water. The food is soooo yum (chickpea and pasta). The property is set in wilderness, very scenic with a nice beach where you reach by pulling rope over a small boat - great experience! Very close to igonish too. The only down is limited washroom esp for bath but overall i highly recommend this place to anyone!Guest review byGauravIndia
- From $161.65 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Excellent - What previous guests thought, 240 reviewsThe Cabot Trail Sea and Golf Chalets were spacious and comfortable for two friends traveling together. We each had our own bedroom, and shared the bath. The kitchen has lots of pots, pans, a fridge, microwave, and stove. There is a chicken restaurant nearby where you can buy lunch or dinner, which is convenient. There is a lovely water view when the weather is good.Guest review byPauletteUnited States

So many nice touches that make it homey when you’ve been on the road for a while. Loved the decor and the comfortable bed and linens. Was grateful for the 2 bottles of cold water waiting in the fridge and the keurig coffee maker. The room was spotlessGuest review byAntoniettaCanada

We ate dinner at Le Gabriel Restaurant.
We ate dinner at Le Gabriel Restaurant. There was entertainment Sunday evening at the restaurant. A woman played the fiddle and a man accompanied her on a keyboard. They were excellent. Seafood prices are very high. The place was very busy and the food was good. Getting around Cheticamp is easy. We enjoyed driving along the entire Cabot Trail on Cape Breton Island. The Cape Breton Highlands Provincial Park was closed because of high fire danger.Guest review bylewis - 8.0
We LOVED our accommodations, the quiet and the beach!
We LOVED our accommodations, the quiet and the beach! Most restaurant food was very good. Loved whale watching and the gondola. Would have like a continental breakfast as there were no restaurants within walking distance. Also, restaurants close too early and many ran out of food so decided to close! 150 people at the pizza place (because no place else was open with availability) on a Sunday wasn’t fun.Guest review byMaryCanada - 8.0
Lovely place. Scenery great.
Lovely place. Scenery great. Food at Main Street Restaurant was very good, deserts were extremely good but expensive. Cape Smokey Gondola was very interesting with great view from the top. The Gondola was a little expensive for someone who only went up and down after seeing the view. There were some trails but didn't seem to be well marked.Guest review byreginaldCanada - 6.0

A bit pricey for what you get but options in the area for what we needed were limited. Restaurant onsite with good menu and great service was very convenient for us, especially after some long days travelling and hiking. Loved parking right at our door as it allowed for easy unloading and loading. Our room was towards the back away from the main road which was quieter than other places we stayed. Disappointed that I didn’t check the details of the listing before I booked to see if it had a microwave and fridge, which it did not. TV was miniature but we didn’t use anyway. Internet was spotty when both of us were trying to use it. Shower was wonky and whole room could have been upgraded with a few things while still keeping the charm. bed was not to my liking —- a bit hard—-ended up not sleeping much. All in all it was ok for one night and the restaurant was a huge bonus but I would see if there are other options next time.Guest review byAnonymous - 6.0
Good spot for sunsets. Very small town off the Cabot Trail.
Good spot for sunsets. Very small town off the Cabot Trail. Therefore very few restaurants. They also close early in the shoulder season so good to keep in mind. The main restaurant was Belles and it had a good selection on the menu. The lobster roll was okay and the seafood chowder good.Guest review byDavidUnited States - 4.0

This was a unique communal camping experience but it is not, as they call themselves, a 4-star resort. It is definitely not for everyone and I would highly recommend more clarity on the Booking.com site. My review should be on there.Guest review bySuzanneUnited States - 8.0
It is gorgeous but even more remote than I realized.
It is gorgeous but even more remote than I realized. Options for food and bathrooms are few and far between and have limited operating hours. Plan accordingly and it will be perfect! The Dancing Moose and the Clucking Hen were both terrific with the offerings and the quality of the food.Guest review byElizabethUnited States - 8.0

Nice rural area, quiet collection of homes on a two lane highway. Cafe Les Suetes is the best stop for homemade coffee and inventive food that isn’t deep fried. Absolutely wonderful couple that own and work in the cafe, accomplishing a super friendly but professional atmosphere.Guest review byDonaldCanada - 10.0
We love Cheticamp.
We love Cheticamp. The Dory for entertainment or the Gabriel for an outdoor beverage. Lots to see . Beautiful location watching the fishing boats! The Auberge Suites are great. Stayed there twice. And would stay again!Guest review byKatieCanada - 10.0

It was mid October so I didn't swim but the dog did and loved it. Beautiful sand beach, we walked it, great view. Loved the sound of the surf from our accommodation as well as watching on the one stormy day we had there.Guest review byJanetCanada
