There were great scenic views and had all the amenities that were needed. We ate at the Buoy and arrow and the fisherman’s landing which had super kind staff and great food. The ice cream at Sweet rock was delicious and it was a nice little ice cream store. Overall Rocky Point is a great place to go to !!Guest review byAnonymous - 6.0
Gros Morne Park is specularly beautiful.
Gros Morne Park is specularly beautiful. The mountains are glorious, the lakes beautiful. Norris Point is a small village with several accommodations & a couple of pubs. It’s just a few minutes from Rocky Harbour, about 25 minutes from Western Brook Pond where you can take a wonderful guided boat ride through breath taking ancient mountains. Trails abound throughout the region. Driving along 430 provides so many jaw dropping vistas. An outdoor persons heaven.Guest review byRosemarieCanada - 8.0

Rocky Harbour was a delightful village with lots on offer.
Rocky Harbour was a delightful village with lots on offer. The sunsets were magnificent to watch from the shore. The closeness to the National Park is a bonus. It’s central to many activities in the park. It was reasonably flat so nice for a walk around town.Guest review byAndrewAustralia - 10.0
What a gem! We loved Norris Point.
What a gem! We loved Norris Point. It's tiny but just large enough for a waterside pub, a boat tour launch point, and an adventure company with kayaks for rent. You can easily pop over to Woody Point or Rocky Harbour or explore Gros Morne from this lovely town.Guest review byTaraCanada - 10.0
It isn't promoted enough. Everything we needed was there.
It isn't promoted enough. Everything we needed was there. The close by beach is breathtaking. The boat tour at Western Brook Pond is nothing short of amazing. Beautiful spot. Regret not having a longer stay!Guest review byNada - 10.0

Beautiful hiking although the wind in the Tablelands was incredibly strong. The trail goes to the end of the valley. While it is possible to hike to the top, the trail, if it exists, is not marked. The Lookout Trail, which begins at the Discovery Centre, is a long slog and the views would have been incredible at the top had the cloud and rain not obscured it. However, you have to expect variable weather in Newfoundland and enjoy those days when it is clear.Guest review byPJ JFCanada - 10.0
