The TV was large and in good condition, and had a solid selection of channels. And it was placed in an area that certainly seemed safe, and also within a 3-5 minute walk of a downtown street with a couple of nearby restaurants and an ice cream shop. Granted, it’s not a modern high rise, and the price was more than I’d like, but it was substantially below most others nearby. That’s the way Golden is in the summer! But for those of us who’ll seek out a local budget spot when the big chains are priced so high in tourist areas, this is a superb choice! Radium Hot Springs is a wonderful and budget-friendly vacation destination. The surrounding mountains are absolutely stunning and provide a perfect backdrop for relaxation. There’s no shortage of great dining options, including several excellent restaurants and pizza spots to enjoy. The hot springs themselves were a highlight—perfectly warm, clean, and refreshingly uncrowded, making for a truly relaxing experience. We are traveling. We took 2 days off to relax in style. Breakfast was included. Bacon. Eggs. Potatoes. Pancakes and cereal. Coffee. Swimming pool with hot tub. Lovely. I love a very hot bath. This room didn’t disappoint. Water was hot and fast filling. We asked for a quiet room and ground level as no elevators. We were very happier with our stay. The price was discounted. I liked that. Very pretty, walkable small town. Downtown on Saturday night was very quiet. Lots of restaurant choices for dinner, we ended up at the Bridge Bistro - loved the river walk on the way back to our hotel. Mountain views everywhere! Invermere is a gem located on Windermere Lake in the Kootenay area of BC… absolutely beautiful town with lots to offer tourists, including a great public beach and hot springs close by. We love visiting this beautiful town. Best place ever- we swam in the river, paddle boarded, rafted, spent a day in Invermere, a day at Wasa, went to the waterfall pools, did the footbaths, used the hit springs pool and road our bikes in to Invermere and back to Fairmont.
