Very friendly people, enjoyed the River walk and some of the local attractions but there was considerable road construction going on throughout the city which made getting around a bit difficult, especially in the later afternoon. Took a day to see Hopewell Rocks and Fundy National Park, both very worthwhile.Guest review byEdwardCanada - 8.0
Definitely worth a visit!
Definitely worth a visit! Quiet city with many cultural and religious attractions. My children noticed the very tasty ice cream, everywhere and the excellently arranged and maintained parks. The people on the streets are very friendly. The shops and shopping centers are overflowing with abundance and advantageous offers. Comparatively low prices, including for fuel (the lowest). The authorities do not charge parking on weekends, holidays and at certain times, which makes the tourist attractions extremely accessible and attractive. We parked for free and walked a lot, we visited many places. Easy city to fly around, without much traffic, and the police do not bother you. Very welcoming, very friendly city, with many places to visit. Definitely, it is worth including in tourist itineraries, being a pearl of the province of New-Brunswick.Guest review byDragos - 10.0

We only had one evening in Saint John as part of our 11 day tour through the maritime provinces. This was our last stop before driving home. The city is bustling and I would imagine that it gets busy in the summer months. We enjoyed walking along the waterfront and took in the "Container" Village on the pier. lots of fun little shops and even a KISS Cover band concert was gearing up to start that evening. A couple of blocks off the water front had numerous restaurants and Pubs. We will have to come back and spend more time exploring this fun city.Guest review byMarcelUnited States - 6.0

Check out ...receptionist spoke Very poor English! Breakfast attendant was very sullen, wore a hoody with the hood up and spent most of his time on his iPhone. This location Days Inn was disappointing.Guest review byGoulding - 6.0
We don't like that you have no beach access unless you pay.
We don't like that you have no beach access unless you pay. It is not a good place for Seniors to visit especially if you can't walk long distances. The provincial park is not senior friendly. We came to see the ocean and only got glimpses.Guest review byWither - 10.0

Unfortunately, the Grand Falls was very small due to lack of rain in the area. Since it was Saturday night, most restaurants were closed by 9 PM so don’t plan to eat out late. The visitors centre was great!Guest review byDarlene - 10.0
St Andrews is a gem. Small town feel. Great food.
St Andrews is a gem. Small town feel. Great food. Lovely accommodations. Proximity to Minister's Island is easy. People friendly. But what I would have liked to explore more are the nearby hiking trails. Did the Rossmount Inn trail and was blessed with SPECTACULAR views. There are other trails to discover and I might have to come back soon to explore this option often overlooked by tourists. What I liked the least is the downtown parking issue. Maybe a shuttle bus service could be provided from an out of town spot nearby to bring people in town. Great business opportunities for summer students.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Experiencing walking on the ocean floor, then watching the massive tidal change was wonderful. The interpretive centre has too much space devoted to the gift shop and not enough for information about the rock formations, tidal change and natural surroundings.Guest review byRK1020Canada - 8.0
It’s very quiet and beautiful beaches!
It’s very quiet and beautiful beaches! Great walking and biking trails. Seafood! Drive from Youghall beach to Caron Point around the city. Daley Point, Pabineau Falls, bled around the basin. House of Lee, Big D. You need a car to get around. City roads are in very bad shape.Guest review byT Mason InnesCanada - 8.0
Thoroughly bilingual.
Thoroughly bilingual. The train station is interesting if you're a railway enthusiast. But stay on the platform! Right next door is the unassuming Italian restaurant Pronto, where diner was delicious and the service sincerely friendly.Guest review byGeorgeSwitzerland
