Stayed at Niagara Falls at least 10 times. Great for a change. Used to stay 2-3 nights. Now going for only 1 night. Live within 2 hour drive from Niagara Falls. Newest kid on the Block, " Niagara takes flight.". 3D movie with sensation of moving across the Niagara region. Amazingly well done. A bit pricey -- $32.75 -- for a 10 minute movie. The pre-movie introductions (20 minutes) was not really worth it. It was probably added to make the total duration to 30 minutes and justify the entrance fee.Guest review byHyderCanada - 10.0

Our two-night trip was to attend the Shaw Festival but we could have stayed longer because there is much to see in NOTL. The restaurants we attended were well appointed and the food was very good. We stayed at the Serenity on the Lake B&B, which was excellent and well located near the historic sight of Butler Barracks and a historic military training field surrounded by trails to walk and explore. We have visited the St. Catharines area several time, as we had family living there. Lots of good restaurants and all the areas are close to each other. We love Rockin Johnny restaurant, always good food and good service. Visit other local areas like Niagra-On-The-Lake, the many vineyards and restaurants, Budapest Bakery is also awesome, super tasty chimney cakes, and lots of great shopping in the area. We really enjoyed waking along the old canal trail ,= a minute from the hotel , also sitting in one of the chairs provided, at water's edge watching the Niagara Rowing Club go by., so relaxing. Short 12 min drive to Lock eight in Port Colborne. Supermarkets and eateries are within easy reach.around Welland Great new shopping mall along Niagara Road, . Fort Erie is a nice sparsely populated place with a lot of open spaces and lots of greenery. However , to enjoy Fort Erie in totality , you should be mobile or be ready to walk distances ( we had lovely weather so did a lot of walking with sightseeing ). Lots to do there. plenty of restaraunts to enjoy a meal at while still getting the canal view. Lovely place to take an evening stroll along the canal. Biking was our thing and the trails are plenty. A wonderful place offering many great places to visit, shop or dine in or take out options for meals, with family or as a couple. We enjoyed going to the many shops. We arrived late, our hosts helped us out. We went into Fonthill to The Trap! Definitely go there hungry! Huge porrions, great atmosphere, friendly staff & amazing home cooked meals. What a special and magnificent place! The falls are unbelievable. We went Behind the Falls and we were so glad we did that - much better than taking a boat. Enjoyed dinner with drinks at the Table Rock Bistro and Wine Bar, overlooking the falls. Enjoyed desserts and drinks on the 26th floor of the Tower Hotel at Fallsview, also overlooking the falls.
