- From $151.22 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 6.9Pleasant - What previous guests thought, 30 reviewsI had such a memorable stay at Cabot shores. Special kudos to Sunny, Kritika and Rutwik for making me and my family feel at home. They also helped me with checkin date adjustment as i had an emergency. They went above and beyond to help us with our requests starting from getting our room ready early, providing a detailed overview of property to arranging food, helping with ad hoc requests such as hot water. The food is soooo yum (chickpea and pasta). The property is set in wilderness, very scenic with a nice beach where you reach by pulling rope over a small boat - great experience! Very close to igonish too. The only down is limited washroom esp for bath but overall i highly recommend this place to anyone!Guest review byGauravIndia

What an absolute mess!
What an absolute mess! If you plan on staying in one spot, enjoy Halifax! If you plan on travelling around the city, plan for an entire day just for the drive. My hotel was only 9 kms from my event and it took 30 minutes each way. Construction at every turn. Heavy traffic. Not sure about the sites .. couldn't get past the brake lights!Guest review byNSPugLoverCanada - 8.0
Petty touristy town on the shores of a large lake.
Petty touristy town on the shores of a large lake. Available public parking is horrible as there are too many cars for the available parking. The Bell museum is definitely a must see and worth a couple of hours visit. The boat cruise on the Ameba is a very peaceful afternoon activity. The town can be a base for day trips elsewhere if you are lucky enough to have nice lodging. Terrific breakfast and dinner at the Freight Shed Terrace. Many shops and restaurants are close by and walkable.Guest review byNormanUnited States - 10.0
Truro is a charming town.
Truro is a charming town. It was just what we liked, the pace was relaxed and we had access to all the amenities we needed. We dined at the N & C. Which we enjoyed very much. It was so lovely taking a morning walk in Victoria park which is close to Abide Within B&B where we stayed upon arrival and departure to Truro. Excellent service and great ambiance. Our overall experience was excellent. Thank you!Guest review byMillyCanada - 8.0

It was a great place to see the tides and walk on the ocean floor. This was our first introduction to the tides. We ate at the Fundy Restaurant, and the scallops there were fantastic. So sweet and perfectly cooked.Guest review byDutton - 8.0

When I left (For the second year running) there are no facilities to obtain refreshments if you have a long wait. (I arrived because of check out time 11:30 and the flight did not leave until 16:45) That is a long wait without the ablitly to have some refreshments.Guest review byAnthonyUnited Kingdom - 10.0
I arrived from the UK around midday at airport.
I arrived from the UK around midday at airport. Called for courtesy bus which arrived quickly. Arrived at hotel around 1pm expecting to have to wait for room. I was able to get into my room right away , which was great as I had been travelling for approximately 16 hours and was tired. Had a quick meal in restaurant which was very good. My family arrived a few hours later and we had a nice meal in the hotel. My grandchildren loved the pool. Will definitely visit again.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Lunenburg is an historic fishing town on the waterfront settled in the 1700s. It's worth a visit, and not too far from Halifax, Nova Scotia. Walk around the hilly streets for a self-guided tour, as there are signs in front of churches and on several street corners describing the history.Guest review bySallyUnited States - 10.0

If you want to feel like you have come home, be warmly greeted wherever you may go, then you will enjoy visiting Antigonish. Home to St Francis Xavier University (St FX), Saint Martha's Hospital, the town is a great base from which to explore hiking, beaches and local arts and crafts in NS.Guest review byDanielleCanada - 6.0
We ate dinner at Le Gabriel Restaurant.
We ate dinner at Le Gabriel Restaurant. There was entertainment Sunday evening at the restaurant. A woman played the fiddle and a man accompanied her on a keyboard. They were excellent. Seafood prices are very high. The place was very busy and the food was good. Getting around Cheticamp is easy. We enjoyed driving along the entire Cabot Trail on Cape Breton Island. The Cape Breton Highlands Provincial Park was closed because of high fire danger.Guest review bylewis - 8.0
