- From $280.67 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.8Good - What previous guests thought, 69 reviewsWe stayed at Rocky Crest Golf Resort for our honeymoon, and it was a wonderful experience. They surprised us with complimentary champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries, which made our stay feel extra special. The resort is set in a stunning natural location, and the room was very comfortable and clean. We also had a canoeing adventure that took an unexpected turn when we got caught in a storm and stranded on a far island—but the staff handled the situation calmly and did their best to bring us back safely and efficiently. The nearby restaurants served excellent food, adding to the overall experience.Guest review byQuazi MalihaCanada
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 242 reviewsThe cottages are adorable. I was in a one bedroom. It has a fully functioning kitchen (bring all your groceries including butter, oil. And coffee grounds/pods. And a flat pan. Surprisingly no pan in the kitchen). It had really good heating. No AC but we didn't need it. No bugs inside. The veiw from the windows was a slice of heaven. BRILLIANT for kids. Two playgrounds, a library with toys, a lake opposite. Next to Algonquin so loads of fun trekking. We went when it was cold but they have paddle boats, and canoes and life vests. Honestly I am blown away by how entertained my 2 year old was in this resort.Guest review bymariaIndia

The hotel itself had 3 different entry and exits leading to different streets. Room was comfortable and clean. I was upgraded to a corner room because of my longer booking time! Brilliant city with lots of things to do.
Brilliant city with lots of things to do. It's a very walkable city. We used public transport and it was good as well. You can buy a day ticket for the subway and trams, which is handy. Eating out isn't that expensive but if you're coeliac you will struggle. I would recommend the Wendy's for a cheap, gluten free salad. We also ate at the CN Tower and they were able to give me a decent, gluten free meal. You will smell lots of cannabis while walking around the city as it's legal in Canada, but don't let this put you off. The city seems safe enough and the people are polite and friendly, on the whole. We will definitely be back.Guest review byKarenUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Niagara Falls are very impressive.
Niagara Falls are very impressive. The boat trip was fabulous but I wouldn’t waste money on journey behind the falls. It is a tunnel walk to see a wall of water passing in front of you. An experience yes, but not worth it.Guest review byLindaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in: within Canada and abroad. I was concerned and had to check my credit card bill to make sure I wasn;t overcharged. Great service and experience for the price. I really appreciated the accomodations from staff concerning check-in, breakfast (I left for the airpirt early, and they were kind enough to pack me a too go bag) and the free coffee in the lobby. The satff went above and beyond to make sure guests had the best stay ever!Guest review bySusanne - 8.0

It was hot, and Kingston was not planned as a primary stop. We would have liked to go to the waterfront, as we have done before, and take a boat cruise, followed by dinner. The problem is that it is so busy now and finding a parking space is problematic.Guest review byRobertCanada - 10.0

Our two-night trip was to attend the Shaw Festival but we could have stayed longer because there is much to see in NOTL. The restaurants we attended were well appointed and the food was very good. We stayed at the Serenity on the Lake B&B, which was excellent and well located near the historic sight of Butler Barracks and a historic military training field surrounded by trails to walk and explore. We missed the Butterfly Museum for lack of time; another place to visit for next time.Guest review byClaraCanada - 10.0
The city looked so much cleaner than American cities.
The city looked so much cleaner than American cities. The traffic was controlled, the air was fresh, and the streets and sidewalks were clean and lighted. The urban blight so common in American cities was not visible, and the police presence was subtle but obvious.Guest review byDunkin - 10.0

Gananoque is a great location to visit all of the 1000 islands on the Canadian side. The town had some nice restaurants. The Old English Pub, Purple House and Grayson's at Wood View Inn. took a 5 Hour tour with City Cruises of the 100 Island with a stop at Boldens castle from the docks in town. It was fantastic. The vibe in town is very much geared to tourism. When i planned this trip I knew nothing about Gananoque, but I hit a home run.Guest review byJamesUnited States - 2.0

Can't fathom the amount of homeless people sleeping everywhere and anywhere in the city, not a great experience at all. Quite disturbing to see this every day. City is dirty and depressing, even on sunny summer days. I'm embarassed to say that this is my hometown.Guest review byBrousseau
