I really enjoyed my time in Toronto, but I have to say...
I really enjoyed my time in Toronto, but I have to say Roger’s Stadium (not to be confused with Roger’s Centre) was a huge disappointment. Getting there was a trek, and the uneven walking path was rough—my wife even twisted her ankle. The stadium itself didn’t feel sturdy at all, swaying uncomfortably, and the overall organization left a lot to be desired. For example, people weren’t allowed to get to their seats because of “wind concerns,” which only made me worry more about how the structure was built. (The show was rescheduled and we were set to see our band at 7:20, yet they weren't letting us in at that time, and they wouldn't even tell us why.) Having been to Woodstock ’99, I can honestly say this place gave me the same uneasy feeling—like an accident waiting to happen. That said, the rest of the trip was wonderful. We had a beautiful stroll through Edward’s Gardens, enjoyed the absolute best onion rings ever at Rosie’s Burgers (their shakes are amazing too!), and had a great breakfast at Stacked Pancakes in Ontario. Stayed at Niagara Falls at least 10 times. Great for a change. Used to stay 2-3 nights. Now going for only 1 night. Live within 2 hour drive from Niagara Falls. Newest kid on the Block, " Niagara takes flight.". 3D movie with sensation of moving across the Niagara region. Amazingly well done. A bit pricey -- $32.75 -- for a 10 minute movie. The pre-movie introductions (20 minutes) was not really worth it. It was probably added to make the total duration to 30 minutes and justify the entrance fee.Guest review byHyderCanada - 8.0

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in: within Canada and abroad. I was concerned and had to check my credit card bill to make sure I wasn;t overcharged. Great service and experience for the price. I really appreciated the accomodations from staff concerning check-in, breakfast (I left for the airpirt early, and they were kind enough to pack me a too go bag) and the free coffee in the lobby. Our two-night trip was to attend the Shaw Festival but we could have stayed longer because there is much to see in NOTL. The restaurants we attended were well appointed and the food was very good. We stayed at the Serenity on the Lake B&B, which was excellent and well located near the historic sight of Butler Barracks and a historic military training field surrounded by trails to walk and explore. Gananoque is a great location to visit all of the 1000 islands on the Canadian side. The town had some nice restaurants. The Old English Pub, Purple House and Grayson's at Wood View Inn. took a 5 Hour tour with City Cruises of the 100 Island with a stop at Boldens castle from the docks in town. It was fantastic.
