- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Excellent - What previous guests thought, 84 reviewsThe chalet was beautiful - looked brand new although Rob (the owner) said they were 23 years old. Lots of space around the Chalet no one was right close by. They offered a group fire pit but we never made it over. They have chairs, umbrellas & towels to bring to the beach. We had chairs & an umbrella but borrowed a couple beach towels. One of my sisters & my friend have mobility issues so Rob offered to drive us to the beach (5 min walk) on a golf cart & gave me the number to call when we were ready to come back to the chalet so they could pick us back up! Very accommodating!! FYI there is no air conditioning but if you lower the Windows in the heat of the day & close the drapes then open both up at night time there is a beautiful breeze off the water to cool the place down. There is a fire place in the living room that was all set to light although we didn’t use it, it looks very nice. Not a lot of noise - no loud partying. It was a very nice place!Guest review byMaeCanada

Great location, and the owner, Nick, was amazing and helpful. Two spots to access the beach for low tide and high tide. Wonderful proximity to the bridge which we could see. Also, excellent communication and response to questions by Nick! Thank you again!Guest review byTracyCanada

Great walking town with a lot of food options and shops for souvenirs. Lobster on the Wharf had a great Lobster Mac'n Cheese dish. They also had great BlueBerry Mule drink. Everything was close to the Inn the we stayed (Dundee Arms Inn). Also had a great run around Victoria Park along the boardwalk. Also visited Government House and had a great conversation with the Wife of the Lieutenant Governor General.Guest review byFrancisCanada - 10.0
Very busy tourist destination.
Very busy tourist destination. Went to Cavendish Boardwalk, Avonlea Boardwalk, as well as Mariner's Cove Boardwalk, where the boys did mining for gems also ordered pizza from Grego, Sandspit, Marco Polo Land and of course ice cream. My husband and I had lunch at this new Receiver Coffee Co. and it was delicious.Guest review byDavidCanada - 10.0

I really enjoyed kitchen we could make breakfast and have coffee out on the deck overlooking the pond very relaxing. We also appreciated the laundry. We didn’t use pool but it looked inviting! Overall we enjoyed our cottage and it felt like home after our sightseeing daysGuest review byELLEN - 8.0

Great Location as a base for East PEI , Wheelhouse at Georgetown wonderful , Bogside Brewery in Montegue again marvellous food and beer. Just steer clear of Rodds Hotels as it’s extremely prejudiced to Booking.com customers.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
This is one of the nicer areas of the island.
This is one of the nicer areas of the island. The beach is spectacular and you can walk for miles along the beach! It is also fairly calm and safe for swimming as it is fairly shallow for quite a distance out. Close by, by car, there is a cute ice cream, coffee cafe, picnic area which was very handy, as well as a grocery store and right beside it, a fabulous bakery which also sells coffees and has tables outside! All in all, a wonderful visit.Guest review byVittorioCanada - 10.0
This location is GREAT.
This location is GREAT. We spent a week exploring every nook and cranny of PEI and this location is central and close to best beaches. They are rated that for a reason. PEI never gets too crowded even in high season so do yourself a favor and stay in this rolling farmland reminiscent of the south of France with great dining options nearby as well.Guest review byKellyUnited States - 10.0

It was a quiet location with parking for our rental car. The unit itself was very well kept and clean. The owner readily suggested places for us to see. He also recommended a small grocery store which was close by.Guest review byLYNNE & DonaldCanada - 10.0

we were literally 5 minutes from town. has a view of the ocean and farmland.racehorses for neighbors! restaurants, grocery store gas all within 5 minutes drive. plus, deep sea fishing just down the road from all that! we toured almost the whole island in 5 days! everywhere you go is a view of something cool. we saw the northern lights and the perseids from our backyard! but the beaches are so dark at night, you get a better view. and they are easy to get to.Felix was a great host and I hope I get back there again!!!!!!Guest review byLisaUnited States
