It was my first trip to Montreal.
It was my first trip to Montreal. I am living in Vancouver for more than 2 decades. I was quite surprised and annoyed regarding Canada's two official languages. The use of English was minimum and I dont understand or speak French. I had lot of trouble dealing in some stores where the speakers were only speaking French.Guest review byNaeem - 10.0
The off/on bus is a MUST. Try to do it your first day.
The off/on bus is a MUST. Try to do it your first day. Notre Dame Cathedral was beautiful. A walk through the Plains of Abraham and the Parliament Buildings are close together and well worth seeing. Many small areas just to walk around in and see the sights. Was disappointed in the museum of civilization. Too many lovely restaurants to chose from. Our favorites were the Cafe de Paris and Polina Pizzeria. In the old city everything you want to see you can walk to. Bring good walking shoes. Lots of hills.Guest review byrobinCanada - 10.0

A variety of activities were available - for all ages. I thought it was a bit of a money grab to charge people to go to what should be a public beach. There were lots of excellent restaurant choices.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Dorval Airport: Easy to navigate. Helpful staff.
Dorval Airport: Easy to navigate. Helpful staff. Clean and fresh. Cleaning staff were cleaning, not just pushing equipment around, they were busy doing their job. The bus service from the airport into the city is excellent. Other airports could benefit from a similar system.Guest review byGwendolynCanada - 8.0

We visited the Empress of Ireland museum and would recommend it to all, unfortunately the submarine was closed and that was disappointing. Don’t visit on a Monday, the restaurants are closed in RimouskiGuest review byJackCanada - 8.0
Beautiful scenery.
Beautiful scenery. Parking is much too expensive, but the town is small enough to walk everywhere. The whales didn't show up. For a tourist town, too many signs are French only with no English translations!Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

The Cape Shrine is a beautiful and tranqualizing pilgreamge place. The Le Temps D'une Pinte is a good place to finish the day with good food, good local beers, and good service. Unfortunately and fortunately, we expereinced the first snow of the year and so could not go on foot to enjoy the history of the buildings in the downtown area, but then the snow added the beauty to the city.Guest review byLOUIS YAN HINHong Kong - 6.0
I love Gatineau, it was my childhood home.
I love Gatineau, it was my childhood home. It is very beautiful, however, with all the construction, long weekend traffic & Ironman rally detours unbeknownst to us tourists, plus a couple fender benders, traffic was horrific for getting around.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
