There is so much living history in and around QC and it is so easily accessible. No car necessary and if you do bring one it can be expensive to park. You can pay to go into museums but many of the best areas/buildings are free to explore. Forget your diet, there are just too many culinary delights. Because the City is old with narrow cobblestone streets, many on steep slopes, it might be difficult for people with walking disabilities to get around but there are lots of bus tours to take you anywhere. Make sure you spend several days here to see it all.Guest review byEdwardCanada - 8.0
Beautiful place.
Beautiful place. We can see the cathedral in front and the st Laurence river in back. Would have preferred a room facing the river instead of one facing the parking lot. The room was quiet. We stayed only one night as our Congress was the next morning. If it hadn’t been for the Congress would have slept in later! The bed was very confortableGuest review byMartineCanada - 10.0

Beaupré is a wonderful place to stay with contact to nature and just 40min of Old Qubec. I just stay 4 days there during summer, I should stay at least 2 days longer, to get more chance to get some trails and maybe a bike.Guest review byMarcosCanada - 6.0

The location was excellent for the purpose of our trip but the lack of food service on site was disappointing and required a 15 minute drive to the nearest restaurant. Unfortunately the place is in need of repair and renovation. At present I would say it is only 'basic'.Guest review byFrancesCanada - 8.0

regarding location, good out-of-town base from which to either visit Quebec City (easy in and out with great parking underground near town hall-Hotel de Ville) or do day-trips to winter sports, Mt. Morrency Falls, Ile de Orleans, native light show, etc.Guest review byjamesUnited States - 10.0

I loved the greenery and the tranquility of the neighborhood. Access to the neighborhood is very easy. Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré, Canyon Sainte-Anne, l'Île-d'Orléans are near. We advise you to go to the restaurant La Grange Brasserie italienne where the service and food are amazing!!!! If you want to eat a great ice cream with Monna & filles. The only thing that's a bit difficult is walking; there aren't any wide sidewalks. You have to be very careful with passing cars.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
The place and view were AMAZING!
The place and view were AMAZING! I loved the location- VERY CLOSE to the lake. The resort itself was situated on the lake, and have numerous activities that were included with your stay. My favorite; kayaking on the lake-super breath-taking. Especially with each hotel room overlooking the Laurentian Mountains! I would say however; that we had to change our rooms once during the stay- the light would not turn off, and the chargers did not work, the other hotel room worked fine- the staff were super accommodating! Overall, the resort had so much to do- perfect for a 2-3 night holiday!Guest review byOrodiFamily3Canada - 8.0

Québec City is charming and great for walking on the traffic-free streets. The shops and restaurants are excellent, and Galerie de la Capitale is just a short drive for more shopping. The city has a wonderful night ambiance that makes evenings outside really enjoyable.Guest review byCatherineCanada - 6.0
The reason justifying a trip to Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré is...
The reason justifying a trip to Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré is first and foremost a visit to the shrine and basilica. I went there to do a weekend retreat and and the sanctuary does have chapels where one can retire to contemplate and meditate. But if you are looking for entertainment and activities, beware! The village feels a little rough round the edges and many properties look unkempt. That being said there’s a magnificent jetty that’s just been built where one can walk and get to admire the St. Lawrence river in all of its majesty. Not to be missed. To sum it up: Thumbs up but combined with a visit to Quebec City.Guest review byMichel SaulnierCanada
