The Fairmont Empress Hotel’s elegantly decorated rooms offer a plush seating area and windows that open out. Each is equipped with cable TV and an in-room coffee maker. Fantastic pool and a small gym, but one that's open 24/7, and the pool and hot tub are open until 1am. Very kind and helpful staff. Room service available 24/7 as well which is almost surprising to find these days. Very comfortable and clean rooms and Le Labo products were greatly appreciated.

Facing the beachfront, Swept Away Inn offers 5-star accommodation in Port Alberni and has a shared lounge, terrace and restaurant. The hotel also offers free WiFi as well as a paid airport shuttle service. Hospitality over and above expectations. We ate out but shared a bottle of wine with our hosts on returning to the boat.
