My stay at IIP Apartments was absolutely fantastic. We actually extended our stay. The location couldn't have been more convenient, with stores and the tram station just a stone's throw away. This made exploring the city incredibly easy. The management team was outstanding; they were always available to answer any questions and offered great suggestions on local attractions and dining spots. Their hospitality truly made me feel welcome and well taken care of throughout my stay. The apartment itself was modern and spacious, exactly as described. I stayed in a king studio, which was beautifully furnished and provided all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep every night. Overall, IIP Apartments exceeded my expectations in every way. Whether you're visiting for business or pleasure, I highly recommend IIP Apartments for its excellent location, superb management, and comfortable accommodations. Not in my nature, but I disliked about anything in this recent booking. 1) The hotel management only informed us about constructional works 24h upfront our arrival. The works had a huge impact on site exposure. 2) The two rooms had an extreme noisy airco 3) the sheets on the bed were winter bedding, extreme hot in the middle of summer creating discomfort 4) the breakfast was quite absent, no choice, no bacon and eggs, no meats... extremely poor 5) very poor hotel despite earlier read feedback... very poorGuest review byJ. We stayed in Basel for a week, using it as a transit point for traveling to other cities in the area: Colmar, Luzerne, and Freiburg. Basel itself has easily enough to see for three full days: interesting museums, beautiful architecture, cathedrals, dining, etc. If you stay for more than a day you get a Basil Pass which allows you to use public transit for free. Baden has a beautiful old town with cobble stones and a riverwalk. Lots to explore, walking up to the Castle ruins, has a casino, thermal baths, cafés, restaurants, bars, shops, boutiques. The public transportation is amazing with the train station right there by the old town and all the buses. Only 20 min. to the Zurich main train station. Basel has a mix of old buildings, many museums (~40), lots of interesting streets and alleyways as well as a full range of good quality shops and restaurants. Very enjoyable to walk along the tree lined paths along the Rhine too, where you can find numerous drink stalls and openings to restaurants.
