I genuinely don’t think there’s a place on Earth that could match it, or even come close. It left me speechless. Words fall short, and my vocabulary isn’t enough to give it justice.
With that view, the cleanliness and design of the room made it feel like a dream. Every piece of furniture was exactly where it should be; more than comfortable, perfectly placed, and spotless.
I still can’t believe I had the privilege of spending four nights there. The bus stop is immediately in front of the hotel, which made everything super convenient. The hotel also has two excellent restaurants and is located right in the middle of all the places I wanted to visit.
The staff went above and beyond, warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly.
The kayak school was right next door, and the breakfast… the cheeses alone deserve a whole review of their own.
The whole experience cannot be described in a short review.
When I return to Switzerland and Interlaken, I will absolutely stay here again. Every second I spent in that room, with that view and atmosphere, felt surreal; like a dream, with a balcony in heaven.
Everything was beyond perfect.

Where do I begin? The location is amazing. I didn't know the view could get better than I experienced coming in via the train, but it gets way better. The hotel is quaint, quiet, luxurious, and not overcrowded. We didn't have to rush anywhere to get a great spot to sit by the water.
The room is lovely - highly recommend going for a balcony (especially nice on cool nights to open the window/doors). Rooms were cleaned daily - we didn't expect this since in the US hotels have abstained from daily cleaning even after returning to mostly normal activities post COVID. There was a towel warmer and individual covers on the bed.
Each morning I indulged in a delicious breakfast. Lots of great choices.
They offer a short lunch/dinner menu for when you need a bite to eat and don't feel like climbing up the hill to a restaurant or bus stop.
The staff (there were two primary people and additional staff that were more behind the scenes) was wonderful. They are a big reason why I hope to come back and stay in the same place for a longer duration. Every need was tended to, quickly and kindly.
Helpful hints:
1. To get up to the bus stop, climb the stairs behind the building and take the path to the left and follow it to the arch under the bridge. Keep straight to the main road. Plenty of little spots to get up to the primary road.
2. If you have a lot, large, or heavy luggage, consider taking a taxi from the train station to the hotel (I imagine most people are arriving by train at Interlaken Ost). Our trip cost us approx. €25.

Location and view of the river. Interlaken train station roughly 5 min walk or less from hotel. Quiet walking path following the river accessible from rear of hotel. Auto parking convenient at rear of hotel. Numerous restaurants, pharmacies, bars and shops are all within a few minutes walk. Lack of A/C is not worth a negative comment and is even common in the area, but it is worth noting / expecting if you are travelling mid-summer.

It was gorgeous! The view is like a fairytale. The hotel is located in a quiet area, uncirculated by cars. The room was very clean, with a large and comfortable bed. Delicious and unique breakfast and very welcoming and eager to help hosts. They allowed us to leave the car in the parking lot almost all day after check-out, without any problems or extra charge.

Excellent location, and a very nice hotel with a beautiful balcony view. Ample parking. The breakfast was very nice, and you can take it outside if the weather is pleasant. The room was quite big. AC was a big plus. Highly recommended if you want to explore Interlaken on foot after parking here.

We were there for a quick trip, ostensibly to go to Jungfraujoch, which was a fantastic day trip. We spend the other day exploring Interlaken, which is such a gorgeous town, and going up Harder Kulm to the lookout.

Wilderswil was a pleasant surprise. a quiet residential community a few kilometers from Interlaken, the area is quiet and friendly. A short bus ride to the main train station and into the city of Interlaken provides access to the rest of the area. I look forward to returning in the winter to enjoy the surrounding snowfall (hopefully!).

Very nice location on its own, you are also very close to visit the Ballenberg open air museum, the Lungern area, Meiringen, Rosenlaui, Rothorn, St-Beatus Caves and take a boat ride on Lake Brienz. You are also close to Lauterbrunnen, Interlanken and Thun.

Magical place for scenery of the river and mountains. Plenty of places to explore, lots of great places for eating and shopping. Gardens in the city are very pretty. Lots of people paragliding if that’s your thing. Visited Aareschlucht Gorge which was amazing. Definitely worth a trip and only around $12 Swiss franks.

Next to a beautiful lake, a fair few restaurants and cafes around, plenty of walks available. Plus it's pretty easy to get to by bus from Interlaken (which is beautiful as well).

t's a spacious apartment and was ideal for me, my wife and my 2 sons. The Kitchen is well equipped, beds are comfy and the bunk beds were perfect for my 13 & 9 year olds. The views from the windows are beautiful and there is a balcony as well that's very convenient. They have slip ons of various sizes as well as they request no shoes inside the apartment, a very nice touch. its very close to the bus stop which takes only 10 minutes to Interlaken Ost and run every half an hour. The Hosts were nice and communicative so a big thumbs up to this property

Bönigen is lovely as it’s quiet and peaceful but it’s very easy to get to Interlaken centre to do day trips in the area. There is plenty to do also right in Bonigen there are lots of water activities and trails.
It’s beautiful the lake is stunning.
We did not have a car this house is fully accessible by public transport and food can be bought in the local shops or the big supermarket in Interlaken Ost the station you will pass through when you make any trips outside Bonigen.

Unterseen and Interlaken have a lot to offer.
Unterseen and Interlaken have a lot to offer. We have spend majority of our time outdoors, enjoying nature. The ski resorts around Unterseen are amazing and within just 30 minutes you are on the slopes but without spending a fortune of money for a hotel, as it is usually the case when staying at a mountain resort.

Absolutely loved this destination.
Absolutely loved this destination. So much to see and do and nearly all within walking distance (we stayed in the Old Town). Local transport fantastic and the Interlaken Card we purchased on arrival made it so easy (just hop on and hop off). We overindulged in food as so many great places to eat or pick up a delicious snack (Try the Bosna sausage at the Balkan Bar & Grill). The fortress, Abbeys, St Peter's cemetery (Sound of Music fame), Catacombs, Mozart's birthplace and residence, walks along the river with its many bridges and of course Untersberg Cable Car ride to the top of the sky for magnificent views across all of Salzburg and way beyond are just some of the highlights.

Beautiful quiet location, with regular train & bus services...
Beautiful quiet location, with regular train & bus services to take you to the bustle of resorts & alpine villages. Lovely to retire back to in the evening after a busy day. 2 supermarkets & handful of restaurants. Eagles overhead!
