- From $219.94 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very Good - What previous guests thought, 221 reviewsThe nicely designed and spacious rooms, former parts of a textile factory, are a great place to rest and to make a small walk to the breathtaking views of the Walensee, specially from.this side of the lake. Taking a swim at the lake from the beach side, next to the camping, with the views of the more than 2.000 metres high mountains right in front of you, super steep, is an amazing experience. The staff at the hotel was extra nice and made us feel great at the facilities. The gym is also nice, which you can access from 8 am to 9 pm in the building in front, entrance D. We didn't take the breakfast because we had still a lot of stuff from our road trip, but it looked really good. I also.appreciated the Rituals soap and.shampoo that are supplied in the bathroom, nice touch. And there is also a shared terrace at the first floor, with all lofts, that we used to have dinner with our daughter and observe the mountains, great. In the lofts, both beds are comfortable and spacious, it was really relaxing to spend time at that loft with high ceilings, nice design and comfortable and big beds. I would definitely stay here again if we plan a trip to the Swiss Alps.Guest review byADRI TORNERSpain
- From $232.78 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Excellent - What previous guests thought, 122 reviewsThis property was in an excellent location and perfect for a relaxing holiday. It’s a family owned business with a small staff; everyone was welcoming and friendly. We stayed in the Suite Terza which was beautiful and had a great view of the mountain. The restaurant had a small menu, but the food was good with a variety of wines. It was nice to have the restaurant after a long day on the slopes. Breakfast was available with few selections; for our family it was perfect.Guest review byGabbyUnited States

Bad Ragaz: A Renowned Spa Destination
Bad Ragaz: A Renowned Spa Destination Nestled in the Swiss Alps, Bad Ragaz is famous for its thermal springs and world-class wellness retreats. The town’s Tamina Therme offers beutifully designed thermal baths sourced from the nearby Tamina Gorge, a tradition dating back to the Middle Ages. Beyond its spa culture, Bad Ragaz boasts stunning alpine scenery, a golf course , and a charming village atmosphere.Guest review byMary JoSwitzerland - 8.0

A pleasant town with some very agreeable corners such as Mitteldorf and the Princely Wine Estate. Excellent National Museum although the Art Museum is a disappointment as it contains virtually none of the wonderful paintings owned by the Prince, which surely could be shared between the Liechtenstein Museum in Vienna and the Kunstmuseum in Vaduz. It's easy to get around at the Liechtenstein Card is fantastic value, getting you in free to all sorts of places, including the winery. Remember though that few restaurants are open on a Sunday evening.Guest review byDavidUnited Kingdom - 6.0

Its too late to come to Malbun for cross country skiing at the beginning of March. We were hopeful for some snow still but all was gone already and unlike in some Swiss resorts there is no snow farming in Malbun/Steg.Guest review byDorota BatorPoland - 8.0

A quaint village on the shores of Lake Walensee, under the impressive Churfirsten (mountain range). Can be busy and crowded on a warm summers day. Best time to visit would be early morning or early evening. If a keen hiker it's a wonderful mid-point stop or end point treat for a meal and a well deserved refreshment. Some lovely local products on sale. A small village but if you stop 'and smell the roses' you'll be rewarded with experiencing the energy that flows through the streets and vineyards.Guest review byRobynneSwitzerland - 8.0

This is an awesome location in a special part of the world. Every turn of the head is like looking at a post card while the people are helpful, polite and friendly. We are already looking forward to revisiting this part of the world.Guest review bybrycegNew Zealand - 8.0
Weesen is a scenic town on the one end of Walensee Lake.
Weesen is a scenic town on the one end of Walensee Lake. It has a lovely quaint calm atmosphere. There are playgrounds with beautiful views, boats to tour the area and a small town to wander through. It can get very busy on a hot summers day, so I would recommend an overnight stay where you can get to enjoy it's calmness once the crowds have left for the day. We had a picnic with take away pizza's one summer's evening and the town charmed us with her views and aura.Guest review byRobynneSwitzerland - 8.0

The location in a valley at 500m, surrounded by peaks reaching 2,500m, was great. Unfortunately the Tamina hot springs up the gorge, and the gorge itself, were closed, but I did manage to catch the last day of the season at Heidiland, a charming place. The mineral springs spa is fabulous, where you can enjoy every type of pool, steam room, sauna, jacuzzi, and water massages, and, of course, it is immaculately clean and well organised. The tourist tax in Bad Ragaz is a hefty 4.60CHF per night. I found the locals rather cold and snobby. It's a nice place to go to if you like the spa. I did not eat out so cannot recommend restaurants. Sorry. The public transport, like everywhere in Switzerland, is excellent but buses only run once per hour.Guest review byGabriellaIsrael - 10.0

Excellent place for exploration of nearby mountains. I choose it for hiking and found many trails. Unfortunately it was heavy snow at the end of September so I recommend summer for hiking around Malbun. Nature around is great!Guest review byViktor, LithuaniaLithuania - 10.0

Every lace I went, was incredibly wonderful, hiking is incredible, views are amazing. All towns' people are the greatest. Many activities to do, and a lot more that will surprise your visit. I could live there forever. A place that is incredibly friendly and helpful. You will truly enjoy your time there. Restaurants are basically the best zi have ever had. I truly had the time of my life and stay.Guest review byPaxton - 10.0
