NetherlandsHotel Tell is great!! The rooms are very clean, the beds sleep really good. The breakfast is extensive, and everything tastes good. But most, we arrived I a snowstorm and they went above and beyond to help us, with us being unprepared for this.

GermanyI absolutely loved my overnight stay at Berggasthaus Eggberge. From the moment you step into the cable car up the moment, you’re literally being transported to a more serene, more peaceful and beautiful version of the world. The views are simply stunning, the staff and owners incredibly friendly. I also highly recommend Andy’s Brew, the owners very own beer. It’s delicious:) Wish I’d stayed a few more days to explore the beautiful surroundings.

United StatesFantastic location, right off the upper station of the cable car. Lots of easy and difficult hikes around that location. Great breakfast, also had a nice dinner here. People working here were super nice. Do NOT follow Google directions to the hotel, instead drive to Biel-Kinzig AG, which will get you to the lower station of the cable car. If there is no-one at the station, just push the button and they'll help you - unusual for Americans to have self service gondolas, but works well.

United StatesThis is a new, modern hotel with all of the amenities you could ask for. Every room has a lovely view, since the hotel is on the 7th floor. The breakfast that comes with the room, is exceptional. The restaurant is on the top floor with amazing views from every direction. All of the staff, are able to speak English, so you do not need to worry about any language barrier. You can start off your day, with a lovely breakfast including: fresh croissants, made to order eggs, cheeses, meats, juice, yogurt, muesli and phenomenal coffee. Need I say more.
This hotel also has an amazing restaurant for lunch and dinner. I would recommend, making reservations for any meals, prior to arrival. The Chef has an excellent reputation and his dishes, are just amazing. He outsources his ingredients from the surrounding area and it is truly a lovely experience.

Breakfast was amazing!! The Chef makes her own yogurt and jellies/jams, applesauce- all delicious!! The staff were all super friendly. The owner stopped by our table every morning at breakfast to ask how we are doing. He is very gregarious and kind!

The light in the bathroom is not bright enough to do makeup at the nice mirror provided.
The noises from the restaurant below could be heard, but wasnt too loud.
Garbage disposal was problematic and inconvient.

One of the most beautiful places in Switzerland, that is not very much known to international travelers, which means cable car prices here are way cheaper than for example Mont Pilatus. It has everything, the lakes, majestic mountain peaks, secluded Seelisberg See, the historical background. The shape of Vierwaldstättersee makes it looking like a fjord from above. I truly adore this area and I think it's highly underrated.

The hospitality was second to none, 5 of us turned up on motorbikes after only booking a couple of hours earlier. The hosts went out of their way to cook us a home cooked meal even though it really should have been reserved earlier, as there was nowhere else open, there was also an honesty bar. The room was cramped, 6 mattresses in a row, and basic but it was all we needed after a hard days riding. Then it was topped off in the morning with an included continental breakfast, that was great. Couldn't recommend this place enough.

Quiet village situated centrally for access to stunning mountain scenery and impressive passes. No more than 90 minutes by car from Zurich airport and the same from Chur for Bernina and Glacier Expresses. 20 minutes from Andrematt and that it has to offer. Swiss rail station within walking distance

Long narrow drive up to Isenthal, not for the faint hearted. Basic accommodation with friendly staff and excellent location with mountain views.
If you don't like pork your out of luck as the restaurant only served various tasty dishes of pork.

What I liked the quite location.
What I liked the quite location.
What I didn't like, the payment wasn't handled by Booking.com . The management company charged our account twice for the property, we had to complain to them before they revised the second charge. Be aware of places that didn't use PayPal, or the ones they want to get your credit card details.

Perfect place!

The staff were very friendly. The owners (Gaby and Andy) gave us hints for where to hike in winter and loaned us walking sticks. The view from our room was beautiful looking at the mountains and lake across the valley. We assume summer will be beautiful as well. The restaurant was also excellent with a good selection and service. Breakfast included with the room was also great. Altdorf was a nice little village and people were helpful. We plan to return with our children and their partners.
