Everything! The view of the lake and the mountains was sensational. The bed was so comfortable & the room was clean. I left my jacket behind and they contacted me quickly to make a plan to get it back.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel location a 10min walk max from station. Helped us with the free local transport offer with buses every 15mins. Also free Lake Cruise which we took up (£40 per person otherwise). Just remember every journey (boat or bus for example) you take on the app you have to select which family members are travelling on that particular occasion - each person needs a virtual ticket for each trip. Hotel had great air con , spotlessly clean, superb breakfast included, and triple glazing so no road noise when windows shut. Lovely and breathtaking area - went to harbour a few times which is stunning. Obviously expensive area in general as you would expect but well worth it. Local shopping centre was great too. Went up Mount Pilatus - great experience on the train and cable cars.

large quiet room for a family. good parking area in front of hotel, good location between Zurich and the road to Luzern. Interesting hotel and historic. Enjoyed the mini bar that was free for hotel guests. Price quality was good for the zurich area for a family to stay in one room together. The room was clean and well equipped.

It’s a brand new spacious property located 5 minutes walk from the train station. It was a very good and caring touch when I found some stash of food and snacks upon arrival after the 12 hour travel day.

Zug is a modern town that relies on international business...

Zug is a modern town that relies on international business and international visitors... Generally people are friendly and very family orientated, you may occasionally find the odd old 'grumpy' , wealthy swiss person that will correct your German grammar or look down their nose at you... But apart from this it's hard to fault this lakeside town. The old town is stunning and the restaurants and bars are truly special. The lake is stunning and the mountainous backdrop is truly beautiful. My daughter loved the open pedestrian friendly streets and apart from the high prices it's a great place to live/ work or visit especially for families and slightly older people.

I was there on business and I chose the hotel because of its...

I was there on business and I chose the hotel because of its proximity to the railway station and the office I was working in. It's a commuter town for people who work in Luzern and Zürich not a holiday destination but, having said that, there are a few bars and restaurants near the station and I would be very happy to return.

This place was not what it was advertised!

This place was not what it was advertised! It claimed to be a 2 bedroom but it was a small studio with a very low (6 feet tall) ceiling. It was so small the wardrobe was in the bathroom. The kitchen was small too. It did not have an oven and there was no faucet (water) in the kitchen. I you needed water you had to get it from the bathroom! It had a small patio which would have been lovely if it was maintained. The only redeeming factor is that the view was spectacular.

This was a charming place to stay that was near enough to...

This was a charming place to stay that was near enough to Zurich airport for departure, but not right in the city (which is also lovely, but we wanted to try a different place to stay). The activities in Zug are outdoors, so in nice weather it's a beautiful place to be.

It’s a very quiet & beautiful little Swiss town that has...

It’s a very quiet & beautiful little Swiss town that has everything you need for comfort and distance wise very reachable: restaurants, gyms, bars, commute, shops, etc. it’s especially known for amazing lakes, stalactite caves, wild green nature around, parks- incl a bird park by the lake and other peaceful poetic sights. The city is very clean.
