Michelle with her sisters take really good care of their guests. They help you with arranging trips in the area. Good english is also really big plus. Rooms are nice, clean, comfortable beds and lovely view from top terasse where you can enjoy evening drink or whatever. They also serve food and drinks at their restaurant. Lovely location in an old village close to the mountains and cave. Village has a couple of shops, cafes and restaurants. Only 15 minutes from the stations and city center. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially towards our young children, which made us feel very welcome.

This is a very modern and contemporary boutique hotel in a historic village located in the outskirts of Guilin. The staff, amenities, facility, decor, and food were all impeccable! Everyone was super friendly and went above and beyond to make our trip extra enjoyable and memorable. We can’t wait to return to Guilin again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to experience Guilin without the hustle and bustle of the city life. It’s affordable and easily accessible by taxi to any parts of the city. Also a short walkable distance to the reed flute cave, which is a must visit in Guilin as well.

The location of this hotel is well situated on the outskirts of Guilin city. It has several attractions within a walkable distance, such as Reed Flute Cave, but it is also a drivable within an hour and a half to major tourist sites like Longji rice terraces to the north and Yangshou county to the south. It is also within a cozy village, and we explored the local restaurants in the first day. The friendly owner of the establishment went above and beyond in service, responded through text quickly to arrange private tours to the places we wanted to go. We were picked up from the train station when we arrived at Guilin and transported back at the end of the trip. Breakfast options range from homemade local guilin rice noodles with fruit to a more western style option if preferred. Bed was comfortable with working wifi and AC. I was expecially impressed by the small things, how when we came back from a long day of touring the owner would always have fresh fruit waiting for us, how the towels and complimentary water would be refilled and waiting for us on our return, and how we were given a bag with snacks and other items for our trip home. If you are looking for a relaxed, local experience with good service that serves as a base to set off to see all Guilin has to offer, then I can't recommend this place enough.

The location and ambience of the lodge is perfect for a weekend getaway. The views are unparalleled and surreal. The lodge staff welcomed us with warmth, friendliness and hospitality. They are professional and we'll informed (and connected) with the local attractions. With their support we were able to attend shows and explore the surroundings. The lodge facilitates excursions such as the traditional light show, renting of scooters, massages, arranging transport and more. The surrounding areas are accessible by scooter and the driving conditions here are safe enough. The lodge is air-conditioned and mostly free of mosquitoes.

The location being outside of the main city is really awesome if you are looking for a quiet nice night  The mopeds that they rent there are the best things ever makes life and getting around so much easier Fridge is $30 a night. You are getting way more than your moneys worth as I mentioned the people there are awesome

    The breakfast buffet was delicious with so many choices. Not to be missed! All of the food was fresh, tasty, and well prepared. Our villa was gorgeous and very well appointed. We did have a problem with our air conditioning. They offered to move us, but ultimately they were able to fix the AC in our original unit. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

    Very comfy room and the hotel in general. Great location, not far from major attractions and the train station. Extremely helpful staff - helping me book a tour, order something online, and waiting with me to make sure the tour picks me up. Great attached coffee house with 1 free cup for every booked day.     Nanning is a beautiful city.

    Nanning is a beautiful city. We enjoyed an evening exploring the streets around the hotel even though there were quite a large roadwork project going on. We only spent one full day in the city to fit in at the end of our 15 day visa free viit to China. Qinxiushan scenic area is quite stunning and a beauitiful place requiring a full day to fully appreciate. There is a lot more to see in and around Nanning so we may need to return one day!

    UNESCO site. Beautiful landscapes. wear proper hiking waterproof shoes. Raincoat for rainy days in March. plan to spend at least 2 nights. book rides with the Hotel to facilitate the arrival process...visitors have to pay entrance fee to the Ping On village. there is a ticket office and security gate for this purpose. travel light and enjoy its natural beauty.

    Something important to mention is that the map location on booking.com didn't correspond with the actual location of the hotel I stayed in! so this is something to double check and rectify! Beihai old town was fantastic and shopping for pearls and eating out was wonderful-there are beautiful souvenirs, great food and architecture and it is the best place to buy pearls (bracelets, rings, necklaces, broaches etc...) A trip to the nearby Weizhou island is quite the treat but the actual beaches in Beihai seem to get way too/ridiculously crowded in the Summer and seem to be in a state of development with lots of construction taking place next to them!

    Lao Dongjiang rice noodles are very close, highly recommended, they have local flavors that locals like to eat. This street is a street I visited, Shijiayuan Road, there are many snacks, etc. Opposite the hotel is Elephant Trunk Hill, Two Rivers and Four Lakes, which is very suitable for walking and taking pictures. It is beautiful during the day and even more beautiful at night.

    Yangshuo is what people think of when they think of Guilin.

    Yangshuo is what people think of when they think of Guilin. It is set in beautiful surroundings, with karst hills, forests and rivers, is full of history and interest and is packed with lively bars and restaurants but has easy access to quieter, rural lanes and villages. Visitors love to dress up in local dress and photograph themselves so there's quite a party atmosphere. I loved it and wished I'd stayed longer than two nights.

    It’s the provincial capital of Guangxi Autonomous Region so there’s a lot economic and social activity going around. Lots of entertainment venues and good infrastructure and transportation services to navigate around the city. Just remember to keep some loose change if you’re taking the bus since the phone payment systems only work for Chinese citizens.

    Beautiful, underrated, I should have stayed one more night. It was very easy to get around and the entire village at Ping'an has English and Chinese signage all on farming/hiking trails. I can't believe how empty the village is and part of me is concerned that not enough tourists are visiting even though I loved the serenity of it. Many stores/hotels were empty or closed, perhaps due to COVID-19.

    guilin is a famous tourist attraction, things to do include a river cruise, visits of the rice terraces, tea plantation, seven star park, or a river walk around sun&moon twin. might be rather crowded in high tourist season. be aware of the e-scooters, which are just everywhere and don't follow the traffic rules. besides this, it's save to walk, also on ones own, even at night. if you don't speak chinese, find a travel guide, who makes the booking and organises the tickets for you.
