I’ve had a long stopover and needed a place to rest and sleep. Airport pickup was excellent, its short drive, checking was swift and I was in crispy clean sheets after a 10 hours of flight from Sydney. I had a great rest and shower, they drove me to airport for my next flight to Istanbul. I’ve arrived fresh and rested. Thanks to hotel staff🧿 it was excellent. Chengdu is a huge city with so mutch to offer. I feel like it's still a city under construction and will look different in a year. We discovered charming neighborhoods with a pleasant bustle. As a European, you certainly attracted a lot of attention. But people are always willing to help you even if you don't speak Chinese. Installing a translation app is a good tip we'd like to share. Be sure to install Alipay or Wechat for payments. Bank cards are rarely accepted. Cash is also rarely in circulation.
