Not only the photos are very accurate and the house is super cozy, but the location is incredible. You are on top of the village so the view is mesmerizing. The hosts were very attentive and kind, they allowed us to do the checkout later so we could enjoy a bit more with our dog. We couldn’t speak Czech but this was no problem, we used the translator. The street is full of cottages and during our stay, we were the only ones there. It was super private and walking 15 min we found this amazing place on top of a hill covered in snow to watch the sunset. Eliška’s mom sells homemade honey and they are delicious. The whole house is fully equipped with everything (even extras heaters). I brought many things in case(salt, pepper, good knife for cooking, extra towels etc) but it was not necessary. The house also has a grill outside. We super recommend this cottage, we will definitely go back one day. My only suggestion is to upgrade the TV in the future. Could be bigger and smart (I had my laptop and a HDMI cable with me so it didn’t affect our stay). Other than that, I think this is a great place to stay. Our Australian shepherd loved it and it was adorable to watch him playing outside in the snow through the kitchen window/balcony while we were at breakfast.

We stayed in this property for 5 nights and didn’t want to leave. It’s simply a piece of heaven on earth. The hundred years old house has been carefully renovated to a top notch standard. It’s beautiful inside and out, spacious, warm, incredibly clean. Wonderful fully equipped modern kitchen, we had everything we needed! The bedrooms are fantastic, soft bedding and super quiet. No light or noise pollution at night in this rural idyll. Walk-in fancy wet room/shower in both bedrooms and everywhere you look there’s attention to detail. Massive plus for us was also a washing machine. We travelled with a dog who enjoyed the huge garden which was…yet again…done superbly. Fruit trees in the back, ping-pong table, two hammocks, barbecue area and in the front perfectly manicured garden with lovely flowers and plants. 3 wooden deckings with outdoor seating areas…natural swimming pool which our son enjoyed a lot. There was also secure parking for our car. The village is quiet yet restaurants and shops are less than 10 minutes drive. Lots of places to see and do, we loved our walks in the forest, the Iron mountains and the whole area is a gem of natural beauty. Everything was just perfect and the owners are also very friendly, welcoming and caring. We just couldn’t fault this place, 10/10! We will definitely come back one day!
