We were most impressed. Our experience with this accommodation was absolutely fantastic! Everything was new, clean, and you could tell that the owners put attention to every detail. The rooms are stylish, thought out to the last detail and have a unique design that creates a welcoming atmosphere. The advantage was that we didn’t have to arrive at a specific time as we were given a code which we used to get into the apartment. The hotel is located in the historic centre, so all the sights and charming streets of the city were literally at our fingertips. While parking is not right in the center, the nearby parking lot is only a 5 minute walk, which we didn’t mind at all. . In the morning we enjoyed breakfast in the restaurant downstairs, which serves à la carte dishes - everything was fresh, the pastries beautifully crisp and the coffee perfect. The great breakfast experience also brought us back in the afternoon for coffee and dessert - I must say they have some of the best cakes we have ever tasted!The staff were incredibly kind, helpful and friendly, which only added to our overall great impression. We definitely recommend this accommodation - it was an amazing experience that we will remember for a long time!

Our apartment was stunning, very comfortable, and beautifully furnished. We had a bottle of Czech sparkling wine and artisanal chocolates waiting for us. The fully equipped kitchen was a bonus, though we only used a coffee machine. The owner was extremely nice and welcoming and helped us with our luggage when checking out and drove us to our car. We were able to park our car at a designated location belonging to the apartments, which was also great, especially as Cesky Krumlov is a car-free zone and cars can park in public places. Hill apartment's location is fantastic, in the heart of Cesky Krumlov's old town, just a few steps away from the castle and surrounded by restaurants, cafes and shops. We loved our stay and cannot wait to be back!

Katerina, Michaela, and Karolina are Tops! They helped me with early check-in, so I could have a much needed nap, with an extra pillow, help closing the very high bathroom window, help with the timed TV, offered me an umbrella, directed me to an excellent restaurant that provided a take-out meal. They represent your hotel so well! I felt care, support. You hire well! The breakfast was nicely displayed and delicious. The parking was so convenient! Your hotel is an easy walk to Billa and to the town center.

Excellent Hotel. Spacious, family-friendly accommodation with beautiful lake views, great beach facilities, and healthy dining options. The area is peaceful and ideal for relaxation. However, the stairs and steep path to the lake may be challenging for those with mobility limitations, and a car is essential for accessing nearby amenities.

We booked Kristian due to pool, but got so much more. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Sauna and pool exceeded expectations and kids play area and gym were extra bonuses. A small and peaceful town with stunning views and landscapes. The river adds a romantic touch, and the whole place feels like stepping back in time. The food was extraordinary everywhere we went. The quality was far above what we usually find in Prague. It’s very easy to get around, and communication was effortless since most people speak English and the town is used to tourists all year round. After 9 p.m., though, it becomes quite empty. Most restaurants close by 9 or 10 max, and the streets turn quiet like a ghost town. We visited during November, and it was great, but we had to wake up early in order to seize the day, since this town is mostly for early birds.

Easy to navigate on arrival in car. The old town is nice, with a pretty main square of arcaded buildings. It is a quiet town with cafes and restaurants.
It makes a very good base for sightseeing nearby tourist sights - including Cesy Krumlov, Rozmberk and Hluboka.

The Old Town was really lovely.
The Old Town was really lovely. The large main square had nice buildings around it and the town was pleasant to wander in. There were many little cafes and restaurants.
The walls and towers were interesting to see, and there were fabulous views over the surrounding town.
Accomodation there was not expensive which was a bonus. There were day trips to other sites within reach.

Unfortunately my stay was too short and the weather was not on our side. We only saw Hluboka Castle, which we were very impressed by. Great architecture, exterior and interior. An incredible experience. Definitely worth seeing.

Pisek is known as "Little Prague."
Pisek is known as "Little Prague." It is a lovely, historic town on the Otava River with great restaurants and cafes, a stone bridge that is older than Charles Bridge in Prague, an interesting city museum, and easy access to numerous hiking and bicycling trails. Great castles (e.g. Orlik, Zvikov) are nearby. It was liberated by the US 3rd Army at the end of WWII. Well worth a visit!

The place is truly picturesque: right nearby lies a quiet lake, surrounded by lush green forest. Just a hundred meters from the hotel, there is a lift that takes guests straight into a magical woodland with breathtaking views. Along the forest trails, you can enjoy peaceful walks, or, if you wish, rent bicycles or scooters and set off on a little journey among the trees and fresh air.
The hotel itself is a highlight of the area. It offers delicious and varied food, with a warm, friendly, almost family-like atmosphere. Cozy restaurants and cafés are within walking distance, so everyone can find something to their taste.

Bike hire info from the tourist office is out of date. Best bet is to go to the railway station, which hires bikes. If you don’t speak Czech, German will get you through...

This was one of the best short trips I had had in a long time. The city is fantastic, it has much to offer to people who are into history, art and architecture. Highly recommended despite a lot of tourists roaming the streets. Bets time to visit - probably late October.
