If you came to visit Hamburg you can easily leave your car in hotel and walk to train station for a 10 minutes and go to Hamburg center by train. Buxtehude is one of my favourite towns in Germany.
Buxtehude is one of my favourite towns in Germany. It has a good range of shops including a lovely department store. There are some great restaurants and coffee shops. The Christmas markets are lively with a great atmosphere. The only downside I found this year was that the market has become more food and drink with none of the little nik-nak stalls for getting something as a keepsake or a quality German tree decoration.
