Das Hotel Ostseeblick

Hotel in Lütjenburg

Situated in the historic town of Lütjenburg, this hotel is just 7 km from the Baltic Sea Coast. Hotel Ostseeblick offers a sauna, an indoor pool and bicycle rentals. This was the second time my family and I were staying at this hotel. Things have become even better since our last visit. Personnel is still friendly and welcoming. There was a lady receptionist when we arrived in the evening, who made us feel at home the moment we entered the reception. She even offered to carry my bags when she noticed I was panting up the small flight of stairs. The rest of the staff are just as friendly, even cleaning personnel. This hotel is really spick-and span - spotless clean both in the reception and in the room where we stayed. Lovely, healthy breakfast with a variety of food to choose from. They have a clean sauna and pool with readily available towels for all guests. When we checked out, Kevin (the manager, I think) offered us two free cartons of water for the road. It was a very pleasant stay, just as pleasant as the first time - but even better. I will definitely stay at this lovely hotel again.

Park-Hotel Hübner

Hotel in Warnemünde

This hotel in Warnemünde offers elegant rooms with free Wi-Fi and balcony, as well as a large spa with pool. The Baltic coast is a few steps away. I arrived very late, in a cold, windy night, and that warm room was the best "welcome" I had from a hotel in years! Thank you, Park-Hotel Hubner! Breakfast was great, wonderful sunsets and moonsets too (it was full moon too). Close to the beach, but not the suitable season for any beach activity. Close to anything you need.

FAQs about hotels in Baltic Sea

Bathing Beaches, Fishing Villages and University Towns

Stretching from Ahlbeck in the East to Flensburg in the West, the German Baltic Sea region is a popular destination renowned for its sandy beaches, fishing villages and seaports. From university towns through to seaside spas, it is rich in attractions and things to do.

To the east of the region, there is the Usedom Island, a popular spot with wide beaches and plenty of little spa towns, where the mighty of this world used to come in the old days. Germany’s largest island, Rügen, is just north-west from Usedom and features stunning chalk cliffs and varied natural life.

The German Baltic Sea region offers an abundance of bathing beaches and natural reserves, with Jasmund National Park and Western Pomerania Lagoon National Area, just off Zingst. For a taste of a more cosmopolitan atmosphere, try visiting the cities of Kiel, Lubeck and Rostock.

All 3 of them offer some major attractions, from the Warnemünde suburb in Rostock and Medieval architecture of Lubeck to the magnificent port of Kiel, where you can attend the world’s largest sailing event, the Kieler Woche.

All along the coast of the German Baltic Sea, Booking.com offers a wide variety of accommodation including 5-star luxury hotels to friendly guest houses and comfortable apartments.
