The apartment was in a quiet serene area. Walking distance to Helios Klinikum Berlin-Buch. Rewe supermarket within walking distance. Bustop right outside the apartment. Apartment was fully equipped and had all the amenities one may require. Cosy, clean and beautiful. Hot showers, comfortable beds, sun room. There is a lot of see in Berlin and the public transit...
There is a lot of see in Berlin and the public transit system is excellent and easy to figure out. We enjoyed Neues Museum which has an excellent exhibit of Egyptian antiquities. We spent a day on Potsdam, where we toured the Sansoucci Palace. The portrait gallery next to it is worth the time also. The surround parks are so large that renting a bike for touring it would be worth the effort. It would take several days to see all the sites there. Berlin is a nice, huge city. With a lot of places to see. The best is the metro system (except lack of air conditioning in the trains) The trains accelerate really fast and can take you everywhere in the urban areas that you want. Don't use cars, use metros to move around in the city. The city has nice places to experinece, such as the TV tower, Brandenburg TOR, the huge park near Brandenburg TOR, Alexander Platz, old town etc. The metro lines can take you to all these places.
