A really comfortable hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Clean, spacious rooms with excellent AC — perfect for the summer heat. There’s a good restaurant and a great breakfast to start the day. Underground parking is available (around €13/day), bookable through the hotel with easy access via license plate recognition.

The cleanliness of the room and bathroom was excellent. We rented a private room for six people, and it exceeded our expectations as it had two showers, a large sink, and the private area was separate. The beds were comfortable, each with its own charger and locker. The individual lockers were huge and opened with a card. I found the hotel very trendy and modern. I highly recommend it in Munich.

    It was a great location. We did half board and enjoyed breakfast and dinner in on site restaurant. The indoor pool was nice, the fitness center was well equipped and the sauna/wellness center was very nice. Enjoyed a massage followed by time in the multiple saunas. This dog friendly hotel was perfect for our stay. The family skied/snowboarded at Garmisch Classic and had a great time. Would definitely recommend this place. And would stay here again.

    The area near the train station was a bit seedy, so we took a taxi to our hotel. We enjoyed Marienplatz and the Glockenspiel. Dinner at the Hofbrau House was fun. There is an amber shop in Marienplatz, where my wife purchased some jewelry. We only had one night in Munich, but we enjoyed our short time there.

    The highlight was of course the Zugspite and the journey there by train, rack-rail, and cable car. Amazing views from the Zugspitze plateau topped only by the panorama from the peak itself. Given more time we'd have explored the many hiking trails, including the Partnach Gorge, but did manage the short walk to the beautiful pilgrimage church of Wallfahrtskirche St. Anton, not far from our hotel in downtown Partenkirchen.

    The first thing I noticed upon arriving in Ingolstadt is the cleanliness of the area from the moment I stepped off the train. I had travelled from Cologne through Berlin, Dresden and Nurnberg, stopping a view nights in each place, and Ingolstadt was the best ‘first impression’ of a city I experienced. This continued throughout the 3 days I spent there. The train station is located in a leafy area next to a beautiful park and surrounded by 3 churches. The city has numerous walkways and cycle routes alongside the river and through beautiful gardens. The city is extremely peaceful and had beautiful architecture and many historic buildings and sights. You will find good coffee shops and some of the best traditional food dishes in Germany. I LOVED this place and can’t wait to return.

    Rosenheim is an intermediate town between Munich and Salzburg. The town is pleasant but unremarkable. For rail travellers it is a good (and often cheaper) base to to explore these cities as well as the Chiemsee, Berchtesgaden and the Bavarian mountains. The local Flotzinger brewery, restaurant and beer garden are recommended but are so popular with local people that unreserved places can be scarce (especially when rain closes the garden)

    This is a lovely hotel located about a 12 minute drive from the Munich airport. The rooms are clean, with comfortable beds. The restaurant next door is very convenient and serves delicious food. A grocery store is located across the street, less than a 5 minute walk away. We would definitely recommend.

    Berchtesgaden is dreamily beautiful, from the pretty and colorful Bavarian architecture of the town, the majestic mountain peaks dominating the landscape, green spaces and flowers everywhere (our visit was in Summer) and the people friendly and courteous. The highlights of the trip were the visits to Konigsee, with a boat trip to Salet (at the opposite end of the lake) a must. The lake is serene and the views of the water and the surrounding forest and mountains are breathtaking. There are numerous options for walks and hikes around the lake, from easy to very challenging, and they are well worth the effort. After returning to town weary from hiking it was great to go to Watzmann Therme for a soothing wallow in the hot springs salt water pools, an easy walk from the town centre and open until 10pm. The tourist information office is staffed by delightful young ladies in dirndl, who were very helpful. Visitors are required to pay a tourist tax when staying in Berchtesgaden, but the local bus is free with a tourist bus pass, and it is convenient and regular. There is a shopping centre near the train station with plenty of supplies for self-catering.

    It was a good place to stay for us to visit both Salzburg...

    It was a good place to stay for us to visit both Salzburg and Berchetsgarten, where we went up to the Eagles nest and visited the recently opened new Documentation Centre and Hitler's Bunkers - well worth visiting.

    Due to non availability on airport shuttle it was disaster and disappointment. How can you declare holiday in express Munich airport and no airport shuttle. Totally bullshit. Due to this our minimum 1000.00 euro extra expensive as every day we took taxi to go airport terminal to take exhibition bus

    Garching is charming city, very cozy and clean.

    Garching is charming city, very cozy and clean. Beautiful houses are surrounded by lots of greenery. There are shops, hotels and many restaurants offering various cuisines, Bavarian, Greek, Japanese, etc. There is a beautiful church, where a very kind and sincere priest serves. There are buses and several metro stations. The faculties of the Munich Technical University are also located in Garching.
