The hotel is in a tranquil location with beautiful scenery. The lake is nearby, offering opportunities for walking, cycling, and, of course, swimming. Munich is easily and quickly accessible, taking just over half an hour by car. The hosts were very kind and hospitable, allowing us to check into our rooms even though we arrived two hours before check-in. The breakfast was varied and the rooms were cleaned daily.

Newly built in 2018, the Starnbergsee Hideaway is located on the shores of Lake Starnberg in Bavaria. The famous Osterseen nature reserve can easily be reached on foot or by bike from the property.

This accommodation does its name justice:it’s truly a cozy apartment. Not small, there is lots of space, but the vibe is super cozy. My partner and I stayed 2 nights and had a very comfortable and lovely stay. We came from NL for a day in München and wanted to go hiking near the Zugspitze the next day. This location was in the middle, so perfect location. Highly recommend going to the Eibsee, just look at the picture :) In Penzberg there are many shops and supermarkets, right around the corner was a great bakery. In the apartment you also have everything you could need; from towels and hairdryer to a fully equipped kitchen. Everything was clean and tidy. Plus the bed sleeps amazing. It was better than we expected, we highly recommend it! Thank you Angi, for being such a lovely host and arranging this cozy apartment 😊
