We had a great time in Copenhagen.
We had a great time in Copenhagen. There's something there for everyone! Whilst there we hired a bird watching guide, met up with Uffe and spent 6 1/2 hours pedalling around seeing the wonders of Vestamager Nature Reserve. There's numerous museums and we particularly liked the Natural History Museum of Denmark and was lucky to see the 'Wildlife Photographer of the year' exhibition which was fantastic. The museum of happiness was whacky and interesting. It's easy to get around the city and it's outskirts using the Metro, buses, trains or bikes which you can hire from numerous outlets, often including your hotel. The people are very friendly and helpful. Food and drinks are very expensive which was to be expected. We paid nearly £14 for three generous scoops of ice cream!!Guest review byGillianUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Helsingor is an adorable town an hour north of Copenhagen.
Helsingor is an adorable town an hour north of Copenhagen. I don't know that I'd have ever thought to go there but my son decided to get married there. It was an ideal meeting place for both families as his wife is from Germany. There are lots of lovely shops and restaurants and the ferry to Sweden is super easy to catch. We enjoyed our short stay. :)Guest review byOliviaUnited States - 10.0

I've been to Roskilde for the festival every years since 1992 and also as a tourist off-festival. It's a cosy small Danish town with lots of restaurants and pubs + few sightseeing locations like the cathedral and the Viking museumGuest review byJimiGermany - 10.0
I traveled by train from Copenhagen to do a 3 day hike.
I traveled by train from Copenhagen to do a 3 day hike. Koge was such a pleasant surprise - gorgeous architecture, good little hotel close to the market square, lots of amenities (shops/restaurants). Took a bus from train station (get your bus and train tickets in a 7 Eleven) to furthest point to hike to Stevens Klimt. Had to return there that night to connect onto another train to Mons Island - amazing hiking spot! Koge is not a touristy town so really nice to see the Danes doing their market shopping on a saturday morning too. Great restaurants too.Guest review byBirgittaAustralia - 10.0

We drove to Stege and Mons Klint from Copenhagen - an easy drive and well worth the trip. We loved the GeoCenter and the cliffs themselves. We probably could have spent a little more time there to enjoy the many trails and time on the beach. We only had a few hours; a full day would have been better, but the time we had was well-spent. In the late evening/early morning we headed to Dark Sky Nyord to catch a glimpse of the amazing Milky Way and we were not disappointed! Stege itself had lots of nice food options. We enjoyed pizza at Restaurant Pizzeria Defino and were impressed by the bustling business they were doing. It's apparently quite popular with the locals too.Guest review byBrooks - 4.0
I do not recommend.
I do not recommend. Everything is far and hard to reach without car or bicycle If you want to see Mons Klint, try to stay near there. Or just do a day-trip from Copenhagen, starting early in the morning.Guest review byMihoDenmark - 6.0
A city famous for its castle.
A city famous for its castle. Otherwise, classic countryside, from the point of view of gastronomy, nothing that would in any way stand out above the Danish standard. Bad taxi service, quite problematic for those who don't come by car.Guest review byJanCzech Republic - 6.0

The town is not very interesting but it is close to the ferry which was an advantage to me. I recommend that you avoid the Rödby Steakhouse and Pizzaria, on Östergade, the main street. I went there for a quick meal. The waitress and the cook were polite and friendly but the owner seems dishonest. He refused the payment by card and he asked me to pay cash in euro. He gave me the change, coins, in Turkish lira instead of in euro. He made some 3 - 4 euros by this trick which is really small money, but it caused a very negative impression. It is sad and a pity.Guest review byPeterSweden - 8.0
Its a beautiful City, quite and peaceful.
Its a beautiful City, quite and peaceful. Fresh air and very good food. People in general are very quite and well educated too. The only thing I didn't like is that its very expensive to live in. Life in general its very high price. To go out for a couple of drinks, to do shopping to go an eat somewhere its very expensiveGuest review byRuthMalta
