Dining & Atmosphere - Even though the restaurant was technically closed, they graciously reopened it for me and treated me to a complimentary beer. The décor is like stepping into a 1960s–70s American museum: quirky, cozy, and utterly captivating. Free coffee is available all day, and I enjoyed sipping it in their lovely garden nook. Hidden Gem: Home Cinema - As a final treat, I discovered a small private home cinema with a handful of ultra‑comfortable seats—a delightful surprise I wasn’t expecting! This place exceeded every expectation—from the friendly service and spotless rooms to the unique dining space and secret cinema. I will absolutely return on my next trip and plan to stay longer. Highly recommended for anyone seeking warmth, comfort, and a touch of nostalgia in a beautifully curated setting!

Set in the quiet residential suburb of Vanløse, these guest rooms are located in the lower part (high basement) in this house with natural light coming in and cross ventilation as all rooms have windows. The house is located at a 10-minute Metro ride from central Copenhagen. Guests have access to free Wi-Fi, as well as a communal kitchenette. With a reasonable charge, guests can use washing machine and dryer. Friendly host, nice neighborhood, shared kitchen. We didn’t have a car, and appreciated being within walking distance to the metro.

The guest house serves an à la carte and continental breakfast and breakfast in the room is also available. Location is close to nature, and easy to get by bicycle from frederiksværk and Frederikssund. The hosts, Hanna and family were friendly and very available, and made sure I was comfortable. The WiFi was excellent for my remote work. Lovely room, very bright and quiet, with views to the garden in each direction, but also with privacy, so It almost feels like you are in a separate house. The shower was better than my own shower at home.
