- From $106.05 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 5.3Fair - What previous guests thought, 992 reviewsSigita, who checked me in, was very sweet, attentive and helpful with information. She noted the option for basic self-catering cottages which you clean yourself have no heating and I could check first if I needed something different (e.g. property offers various options: camping, basic cottages, hotel rooms, full seaside cabins, etc.) Although it was very cold for October, there was plenty of provided bedding (bring your own linen or rent). It was simple but sufficient with a couch, bunkbeds, table, amazingly quick kitchen appliances (supermarket & bakery only 100 m away), patio, and plenty of communal bathrooms that were maintained regularly by a friendly gentleman. For an additional fee, you could access an indoor pool with a steam room, spa treatments, outdoor sauna, bicycle rental, laundry, and various tours including a horse ranch nearby. There is also an outdoor pool and restaurant which opens for breakfast, lunch and buffet dinner. I thought it was excellent to have all these amenities on-site if wanting to stay in a bit more of a quieter part of the island but best to have a vehicle or rent a bike as local transport varies on seasonal schedule if exploring.Guest review byHuyen VyCanada
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 134 reviewsThe design of the hotel amidst a quiet neighborhood in Kampen. The room/bathroom were very well appointed and well stocked with welcome chocolates, water & coffee. We enjoyed the beautiful breakfast served in the breakfast room/terrace. Homemade marmalades & honey, fresh breads & rolls, cheese, cold cuts and eggs made to order. Attention to detail everywhere you look, leaving nothing to be desired. The spa/pool/sauna area is wonderful as well. Private parking on site. Bring your own or rent a bike through the hotel and explore this most beautiful town on Sylt. The Kupferkanne Restaurant is a 15 min walk away and the adorable neighborhood invites for ong walks. The staff went above & beyond to make our stay a memorable one. A bakery & Italian restaurant are just a few steps away from the hotel. Highly recommend!Guest review bySabineUnited States

Everyone is very friendly and always attentive to assist and help . + we liked the breakfast (lovely atmosphere, great breakfast selection ) + great location - close to all attractions (beach, harbor) - we felt in love with our wellness suite (large, convenient, perfect view , nice interior design , great sauna ) Also the spa and pool area is tiny but very nice and well equippedGuest review byClaudiaGermany
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Excellent - What previous guests thought, 688 reviewsVery nice hotel close to both beach and harbor. The staff was very helpful, friendly and competent. The room was spacious and had a good view of the ocean. The balcony even had very comfortable deck chairs. The bed was big and very good. The bathroom was really nice,, big and worm. Very good shower, too. There is a supermarket in the same building (back side), which means ample parking and a good source for the sundowners on the balcony :-)Guest review byRayZer360Germany

A very clean and quiet city; the hotel was ok; the restaurant in the hotel was serving the breakfast which was very good; dinner served there quite expensive and not too many choices to pick from. City Center very very nice! Denmark 🇩🇰 overall is a beautiful destinationGuest review byMARIOCanada - 10.0

Great beaches and nature, and a wonderful harbor area with good casual fish restaurants away from the sometimes over-pretentious crowd at Kampen. KÖNIGSHAFEN is a wonderful restaurant for fine cuisine.Guest review byBrooklynhereUnited States - 8.0

The island is nice with wonderfull beaches, but we were disappointed about Nordby. On mondays and tuesdays most cafees are closed or close very early. Not very tourist friendly. Fanø Bryghus is a very nice exception. They are open all week and have very nice beer.Guest review byClaus CDDenmark - 10.0
Small but very neat and cozy old town.
Small but very neat and cozy old town. Of course, there is nothing to do there for two weeks (as in my case), but it is quite worth visiting for two or three days. I would recommend visiting this city in the summer.Guest review byIgorasanLithuania - 10.0

A very nice place to visit ,one of my favourites on my trip .It is good to see the seals .I recommend you hire a bike if you don't have a car .Great places ,for walking . and history as in the German WW11 bunkers .There was an open air play when I was there .Nordby is a nice town .You only pay for the ferry to Fano ,not the return .Very frequent crossings . It has good scenery. good walks good for animals ,if you like swimming ,sailing history ,fishing ,forests then this,is for you .Guest review byAlanUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Very comfortable and spacious twin room, beautiful food and very helpful staff. Hotel was friendly and cosy with lovely places to sit and relax inside if weather outside was cold and wet. It was the middle of winter and it snowed while we were there, but the hotel was warm, inviting and relaxing. I wished we had been able to stay longer and I would love to go back.Guest review byTraceyNew Zealand
