CanadaThis is a truly special place to stay, probably the best location in all of Isabela island, just superb all around but the hot and cold breakfast set up every morning as if you were at a hotel is simply amazing! The 2 times I had a little problem with something in the apartment they responded almost instantly!
Eva who checked us in was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful and everyone else we had contact with were so pleasant to deal with.
I’ve stayed in many beautiful and unique places but this may have been my all time favourite! We stayed for 4 nights but I wish it could’ve been so much more!

The hotel is right on the beach at the edge of town, giving you space to roam the trails along El Camino Del Tortugas and the broad white sand beach. The property manager and staff were kind, informative, and friendly. The water pressure in our shower was excellent!

United KingdomStaff were really friendly and helpful, the room was cleaned everyday. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything you need to cook meals with. I was able to leave my bags at the hostel and spend some time there after check out while waiting for my flight.

They are super kind and helpful and even make us feel like theie children 😭 our room is clean and facing the ocean it was amazing to fall asleep to the sound of ocean. The bar was an amazing plus! I love the hammocks around the hotel. But i think the highlight of the hotel is the kindness of the owners , i swear they are the nicest people and amazing service!!! We feel like home!

I loved my time at Chez Manany! The property is beautiful! It's walking distance to the harbor where all the tours/ferries leave from. It's also walking-distance to an amazing free snorkeling spot. There was no AC but we didn't need it. We were very comfortable. The wifi was fast too. Martha didn't speak English, but we were able to communicate via translator apps, and the owners reached out to let me know they'd be able to help if needed. Martha was SO NICE and accommodating. It was a 15 minute walk to town where the restaurants are. We paid to rent bikes in town since one of the bikes at Chez Manany was out of order. Would recommend, and would stay here again.

It's hard not to like Casa de Marita. It's right on the beach on the far side of the small town - so it's quiet on the property but easy to walk to everything. It's one of the closest hotels to the ferry (10-min walk).
The staff was extremely attentive. Our room was clean (and spacious). Breakfast in the morning was included, and pretty extensive. We had dinner there two nights - both meals we really enjoyed.
They helped connect us with a local tour guide agency, so we felt confident trusting the company to book/pay for tours in advance.
Bonus: we paid for the jr suite, but were upgraded to the master suite because the hotel was only half booked.

The hotel staff were incredible and very helpful. They helped me plan my activities and organize tours for me, contacting the owners of the tour agencies themselves. My room was very pleasant, had great views of the beach, had great airflow, and was in a perfectly central part of town. The breakfast at the cafe downstairs was tasty and affordable for guests.

The location was perfect! A stones throw away from the beach. There are also plenty of restaurant options near by.
The staff were very warm and welcoming.
Beach towels are available to use (so no need to use your own).
The bed was very big and comfortable

The hotel staff was really helpfu.l They booked all the tours for us and made sure that tour company pick us up at the hotel. The manager even took us to a bike store to rent our bikes.

Puerto Villamil is a beautiful friendly port!
Puerto Villamil is a beautiful friendly port! Easy to get around. At all times the surroundings felt safe & clean. Food was very good, lots of variety. Quiet relaxed stay. Best of all the freedom of the animals all around. Highly suggest you travel light and have your sunscreen ready.

Loved how relaxed the pace of life was. A highpoint was the availability of good inexpensive food. For an excellent quality restaurant, el cafetal was great! The beach and ocean views from our hotel were the best. We loved snorkeling at Concha Perla. We enjoyed a couple of tours and were able to see so many beautiful sea animals.

We enjoyed the different activities and places to visit in Isabela, I think the Sierra Negra Volcano, and the tintoreras tour are the best. Taxis used to charge much more than in Santa Cruz since they charge by people, not by ride.
