- From $106.09 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.0Very Good - What previous guests thought, 1,293 reviewsWe stayed at Mediterraneo Bay for the third time in May -25, and we will be coming back again because we can't get enough of this excellent hotel. The price is very reasonable, especially in spring and fall The room is spacious and has a nice design. Our kids love the huge pool area, and the meals are delicious and with a huge variety of different dishes to all tastes. What more can one want from a place like this?Guest review byEmmiNorway

Massage with Maria Angel excellent, amazing breakfast served on our terrace every morning (worth every penny of the extra cost). Gorgeous pool and views. A short drive to Agua Amarga for beach and restaurants, but delight to return to after. Eclectic furnishings, large fully stocked kitchen, robes and wonderful long Arabic shirts for the pool.Guest review byRebeccaNorway

Roquetas de Mar is a charming place that remains relatively undiscovered compared to other more crowded destinations. It has a wonderful local vibe, with many residents still enjoying the area’s authentic atmosphere. While it can get busy during the summer months, it never feels overcrowded like other popular spots. The tapas are absolutely delicious, and the local people are warm and welcoming. The sea is clean and warm (most of the summer). It is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the Mediterranean.Guest review byAngieBelgium - 10.0

It is easy to get around Mojacar as there is a good bus service. From the excellent beach areas a bus will take you up to the town of Mojacar itself when on every Wednesday there is a small but lively market. There are some lovely gift shops with some interesting and unusual gifts and souvenirs. For those who like to shop, a visit to the Centro Commercial is definitely worthwhile. Apart from lots of interesting shops to brows there are some lovely restaurants, bars and cafes.Guest review byjuneSpain - 10.0
Almería city is compact and easy to get around on foot.
Almería city is compact and easy to get around on foot. It is very Spanish, something that as a Spanish-speaker I appreciate. In addition to the places usually highlighted in guides, we very much enjoyed el Museo del Realismo Español Contemporáneo which had two temporary exhibitions in addition to its excellent permanent collection. The Enclave Arqueológico de la Puerta de Almería is also worth a visit to view the excavated gate and walls of the early Moorish city, together with some interesting Roman remains. The range of restaurants available is huge. Our favourites were La Consentida Braseria; Restaurante Quatro Hojas, and Almedina Baraka (close to the Alcazaba).Guest review byDavid MasonUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Aguadulce is a nice district; the hotel is not far from a supermarket, not far from the beach and not far from a taxi stand to go to airport of Almeria. The road which leads from Almeria to Aguadulce is in very good conditions. The Tourist Office is very helpful. The park is clean, well kept and has very interesting tropical and hot weather plants and flowers. There is plenty to explore if one wishes to move around... bars and cafeterias have a good variety of offerings.Guest review byElisabettaUnited States - 8.0
Really lovely location Quiet
Really lovely location Quiet Good local bars/restaurants even in November Long beach to walk along Quaint squares with children's playgrounds and bars etc Easy to walk around, downhill to the beach, then flat rest of the way Parking limited, but we didn't have a problem Quite a lot of steps plus handrails, for better views Nearest bar, downhill, was excellentGuest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Nice little town (stayed at Vera Beach not Vera) Very clean and well maintained public areas. Beaches were cleaned every day. Good sized supermarket (Consum) in the centre. Vera itself is a couple of miles inland from Vera Beach area where we stayed so be aware of that.Guest review byAllisterUnited Kingdom - 6.0
Small and quiet place. Very new, constructions are going.
Small and quiet place. Very new, constructions are going. Would be great to have more greens around. Close to Almería, so it takes only 15-20 minutes to the downtown. It’s also 25-30 minutes from Mini Hollywood and Fort Bravo. Would like to return for the caves visit (seems there are 4-5 interesting caves around) as well as huge national park with many spots to visit.Guest review byMBCSpain - 8.0

Fab bars and restaurants, reasonably priced, friendly staff everywhere we went. Great walks, close enough to walk to Agua Amarga through the countryside - about 7km. Good location to visit the rest of Cabo de Gata. Good shops.Guest review bySarah StreeterSpain - 10.0
Las Negras is a small and unspoiled village.
Las Negras is a small and unspoiled village. Everyone was welcoming and friendly and although it was predominantly Spanish speaking, communication was relatively easy. There is plenty to do around the immediate area of Las Negras with unspoilt beaches and water based activities but we also enjoyed trips to Almeria, Carboneras and Mojacar, all of which are worth seeing. We had a really lovely time.Guest review byAnneUnited Kingdom - 10.0
The area is lovely, clean and very well presented.
The area is lovely, clean and very well presented. We were there for the night of San Juan fiesta and noticed that there was no rubbish anywhere, hundreds of people enjoying themselves. The rubbish bins were full but people still placed their rubbish at the bin area. We went to the port and found a delightful restaurant called 'Marios' it was a lovely experience, friendly staff and tasty food. There are lots of bars to choose from.Guest review byEtticutSpain
