Great location, beautiful ground and the stuff is exceptional. This was our 1st time visiting Mojacar, and we loved it. All the amenities you need are right here in this resort. The prices are a little higher, but you can always leave the hotel and do your shopping elsewhere. The pizzeria is one of the best pizzas we have ever had. The breakfast is great, so much to choose from. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

We stayed at Mediterraneo Bay for the third time in May -25, and we will be coming back again because we can't get enough of this excellent hotel. The price is very reasonable, especially in spring and fall The room is spacious and has a nice design. Our kids love the huge pool area, and the meals are delicious and with a huge variety of different dishes to all tastes. What more can one want from a place like this?

Everything! This is a very special place and would definitely return. Massage with Maria Angel excellent, amazing breakfast served on our terrace every morning (worth every penny of the extra cost). Gorgeous pool and views. A short drive to Agua Amarga for beach and restaurants, but delight to return to after. Eclectic furnishings, large fully stocked kitchen, robes and wonderful long Arabic shirts for the pool.

Roquetas de Mar is a charming place that remains relatively undiscovered compared to other more crowded destinations. It has a wonderful local vibe, with many residents still enjoying the area’s authentic atmosphere. While it can get busy during the summer months, it never feels overcrowded like other popular spots. The tapas are absolutely delicious, and the local people are warm and welcoming. The sea is clean and warm (most of the summer). It is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the Mediterranean.

It is easy to get around Mojacar as there is a good bus service. From the excellent beach areas a bus will take you up to the town of Mojacar itself when on every Wednesday there is a small but lively market. There are some lovely gift shops with some interesting and unusual gifts and souvenirs. For those who like to shop, a visit to the Centro Commercial is definitely worthwhile. Apart from lots of interesting shops to brows there are some lovely restaurants, bars and cafes.

Almeria was so unexpected we have passed through on many occasions and didn't realise what we were missing. The people of Almeria are among the friendliest I have ever met in a City or anywhere for that matter. We can not wait to return and explore as much as we can. Because of our circumstances we mainly ate in the hotel. But we did on several occasions eat out. There is a very good Asian and a very good Spanish restaurant very close by and a lovely friendly cafe across the road from the hotel. For those like fast food the 5min walk to the Mediterranean Shopping Centre would make you very happy. There is an excellent bus service to travel around the city.

Aguadulce is a nice district; the hotel is not far from a supermarket, not far from the beach and not far from a taxi stand to go to airport of Almeria. The road which leads from Almeria to Aguadulce is in very good conditions. The Tourist Office is very helpful. The park is clean, well kept and has very interesting tropical and hot weather plants and flowers. There is plenty to explore if one wishes to move around... bars and cafeterias have a good variety of offerings.

Can’t comment on ‘Vera’ as it is asking me to do as that is a couple of miles inland. However, Vera Playa was a well run, clean destination. The public area was well maintained by the local authority it seemed. A good range of eating places and shops. Vera Playa is a small area and getting around is simple…walk ! Should you have mobility issues this place would be well suited as it is flat, public walkways are well maintained and nothing is too far away. There is also a small local hospital in the area (looked private but didn’t visit).

Small and quiet place. Very new, constructions are going. Would be great to have more greens around. Close to Almería, so it takes only 15-20 minutes to the downtown. It’s also 25-30 minutes from Mini Hollywood and Fort Bravo. Would like to return for the caves visit (seems there are 4-5 interesting caves around) as well as huge national park with many spots to visit.

Las Negras is a small and unspoiled village.

Las Negras is a small and unspoiled village. Everyone was welcoming and friendly and although it was predominantly Spanish speaking, communication was relatively easy. There is plenty to do around the immediate area of Las Negras with unspoilt beaches and water based activities but we also enjoyed trips to Almeria, Carboneras and Mojacar, all of which are worth seeing. We had a really lovely time.

The area is lovely, clean and very well presented. We were there for the night of San Juan fiesta and noticed that there was no rubbish anywhere, hundreds of people enjoying themselves. The rubbish bins were full but people still placed their rubbish at the bin area. We went to the port and found a delightful restaurant called 'Marios' it was a lovely experience, friendly staff and tasty food. There are lots of bars to choose from.
