FAQs about hotels in Andalucía
Pulsating with History and Tradition
Resounding with flamenco, the fabulous Spanish region of Andalusia (or Andalucía) has world-class attractions, wonderful scenery and welcoming beaches.
Some of the best Andalusia hotels are in Costa del Sol resorts including Nerja and glitzy Marbella, neighbour of exclusive Puerto Banús. Nearby is Málaga, Picasso’s city with relics of its Roman past.
Moorish influences have also left magnificent marks. Formerly a mosque, the incredible Córdoba Mezquita is now a cathedral. Against the backdrop of the Sierra Nevada mountains, the Alhambra is a former sultans’ residence looking down on lovely Granada, home to some romantic Andalucia hotels and apartments on Booking.com.
You can ski in the Sierra Nevada, and also in mountains by Aracena north of Seville, the region’s sun-drenched capital with a gigantic Gothic cathedral and amazing architecture in Plaza de España. It also has a ring where controversial bullfighting occurs.
Its nearest beaches are on the Costa de la Luz, between Isla Canela (by Portugal) and Tarifa. Nearby is Algeciras, across the bay from Gibraltar. Other popular Andalusia beaches are in Costa de Almería resorts including Roquetas de Mar and Mojacar.
Inland, on a steep escarpment, Arcos de la Frontera, is one of the White Villages of Andalusia. Nearby is Jerez, home of sherry. To the east is Ronda with its high bridge spanning a deep gorge.

- From MYR 1,220.96 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Excellent - What previous guests thought, 3,381 reviewsOur room (suite, sea-facing, corner room)was exceptional. Plenty of room for two people (two bathrooms, plus a full bath), sofas, balcony with lounger and table and chairs) which could accommodate a family with two children (probably not four adults comfortably). The bed and bed linens were very comfortable. A generous 3 bottles of water were left each day. The hotel (built in 2012) was vivid with light (a contrast to the historic paradors we had stayed in during our trip). Excellent wi-fi. Pools were clean and well-managed. Hotel was professionally managed in all respects, particularly the breakfast buffet service, run by the excellent Breakfast Service manager. Attention to detail in all aspects of the hotel made for a very enjoyable stay - e.g. thin nylon lines had been run from the hotel high across the pools, hardly visible, but this prevented seagull interference. Some other reviews have suggested the hotel was looking tired - I disagree, both the common areas are clean and well-maintained, and our room was immaculate.Guest review byPhilipFrance
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Excellent - What previous guests thought, 4,469 reviewsGreat resort! The facilities on the property are great. The staff are absolutely incredible, they are super efficient and very friendly. The pool is amazing and quite big considering how busy it gets. We chose the room with the pool and sea view which is best located for a great view of the sunset. We also booked the full board option which is great option as the meals are quite expensive.Guest review bySandiSouth Africa

Make sure to book all your sightseeing ahead of time.
Make sure to book all your sightseeing ahead of time. Some of the tours are long 3 hours so you may think of doing them in separate bookings. One of rooftop bars was amazing, great atmosphere Atico bar, great for sunset, there is a minimum charge of 120 euros to reserve a seat but if you get there early enough you should secure a good spot. One of the restaurants that we booked was set in a garden which was beautiful and again the staff were so attentive Ozama, so if you are looking for a little break away from the tapas this is in a really nice setting and food was fab.Guest review byshoshannaIreland - 10.0

Málaga is a great city destination. 3 days probably enough to be in the city although the eating and drinking options were huge for a longer stay. A week overall was perfect for us as we made a 2 day trip to Granada (easy train journey), a tour to El Caminito del Rey (Unmissable) and a day trip to Ronda and Setenil. Málaga is a great walking city including up to the Gibralfaro Castle and for further away options there are public transport options as well as lots of private tours.Guest review byGeorgeUnited Kingdom - 10.0

This unit had a great location to many activities in Granada. The bedrooms were beautiful and there was ample space for 2 couples. Be aware that this is a 1.5 bath unit and not a full 2.0 bath that I requested when I searched. With that said however, we made it work out and enjoyed our stay! Thanks Jimena!!Guest review byLeslieUnited States - 10.0
The main attractions were great.
The main attractions were great. The Alcazar happened to be closed when we visited so I can't comment about that. I found the Royal Stables Horse Show was absolutely wonderful. A must for all horse lovers especially. Book early and arrive early to be seated on time. Cordoba was beautiful to walk around- night time was very beautiful over the bridge. Days were warm to hot in September. I appreciated having a pool at my hotel.Guest review byLeonieAustralia - 10.0

Our apartment was situated about halfway between Benalmádena Marina and Torremolinos Centre so a pleasant walk. Plenty of entertainment within an easy walk. Torremolinos centre is vibrant and always busy with numerous bars restaurants etc. Beaches are lovely with great comfortable sun beds. It was a but rough in the bars just outside where we stayed but overall it was a nice place with pretty squares & nice shops. Lots of restaurants with a wide selection of outside eateries. Many golfers so lots of places had tvs showing sports. It was atmospheric & friendly.
